We love Flatwaters. We camp here annually with a big group of family and friends. We love that the bar is right next to the campsites. We have a blast and we love that the owner makes a big bon fire for us to enjoy every night that we're camping there. We will be back every year!!

Mom and pop run place, they keep it clean and really take care of you. Art will drop off the wood, garbages provided and clean outhouses. The saloon is a nice option:p and they do have shower houses. I prefer this tube trip over Jack's

We rented tube's from here for our river trip, it was amazing service and Art one of the owners was a very nice guy! Looking forward to trying out camping here as well in the future!

Very nice camp ground. Owner is very kind but does not handle conflicts well with other campers. Would love to rate more stars but other campers where doing risky stuff effecting others around them that the owner could not or would not fix. We left our trip early. But the grounds are nice and kept up, many spots available, cheap and offer both Porta potty and regular bathrooms and shower

The owners are really helpful and hardworking. The sites are kind of closely packed, but for a group camping trip, that is perfect. The grounds are very well maintained and it looks like the Porta potties are serviced regularly. He has a water spigot by the bar to refill containers. He has a bus and trailer for transport to and from landings for float trips. We brought a phone so we could call him to pick us up. My husband's brother comes here every year for his birthday, and they thoroughly enjoy themselves every year.

I’m not one to write reviews, but the blatant disrespect for river safety I witnessed by tubers being picked up at Earl’s landing was simply absurd. Sure, having a few beers on the Nam sounds like a fun way to spend Labor Day weekend. Getting so hammered you can’t walk straight out of your tube, flip backwards, and almost crack your head open on the boat launch is not a fun way to spend your Labor Day weekend. To the older gentleman that was working Sunday 9/3, you deserve a raise for having to pick up a bunch of drunks spilling their cooler of beers everywhere. Nothing against Flatwaters Campground, I just felt the need to share such a dangerous situation I witnessed. SAVE THE DRINKING TILL YOU’RE OFF THE RIVER
