The most perfect place to stay in Hayward! The location can’t be beat, only a couple blocks from the main drag with all of the shops and restaurants. The house itself is a true gem, just stunning! Super clean rooms and updated bathrooms. The owners were amazing to visit with and they cook a mean breakfast in the morning! Absolutely delicious. The backyard is HUGE and it’s lined with cozy string lights and big trees. We will definitely be back! 10/10!

Beautiful McCormick House Bed and Breakfast reopened with new owners in June. It’s still an amazing place to stay!|| Adam and Michelle were warm and welcoming as they showed us around. The former restaurant areas are now a spacious breakfast room and comfortable library/lounge. Delicious breakfasts were cooked to order with several choices on the menu. Evening wine service provided the opportunity to visit with our hosts and relax in lovely surroundings. If you liked McCormick House under previous ownership, you won’t be disappointed now. The former owners have selected a new couple who will continue to carefully maintain the property while putting their own stamp on it.

A group of 8 of us were on a road biking trip. Pedal during the day, finer dining and comfy European-style beds with breakfasts that make memories. McCormick Inn is this and more. It is a top favorite and we bike in the U.S. and internationally so our standards are high. Michelle is a baker who could compete on baking shows. Her husband made our husbands feel comfortable. A “cherry” on the cupcake was their daughter who drew pictures and made us jewelry as a parting gift.

We stayed at McCormick House for our anniversary, it was wonderful. Michelle, Adam and Addison have a beautiful home, very relaxing and comfortable. Wine as we checked in, breakfast in the morning, and enjoyable conversations. Loved the pets, too! Highly recommend staying with them.

My fiancé and I stayed at the McCormick House Inn and it was a beautiful BnB! It's under new ownership and was such a cozy, welcoming, quiet place to escape to after a fun day enjoying all Hayward had to offer. The hosts were fabulous and really made sure we had all we need to enjoy our stay. ||It was also really great that it is just a few blocks from downtown - so an awesome option to stay and then walk into town without having to worry about parking. (Score!)||I'd highly recommend staying at the McCormick House Inn and will definitely be coming back!

Excellent stay in this charming inn. The Hayward Suite was spacious and well appointed. Michele provided excellent and timely communication. We checked in early and were met right on time and given a key to our room, The shower was especially wonderful due to the great water pressure. Our breakfast was delicious and well prepared. Unfortunately the restaurant was not open that night so we were not able to have dinner here. (It was a Monday evening) We definitely will stay there again.

I chose the McCormick House for a lil get together for the day after my birthday. They had an outdoor BBQ and a band I loved. WOW !!! The staff and food were both amazing. I was a little nervous cause my grandkids were coming. They are 5, 4, 4 and 2. It was a perfect place for a family get together or a date night. The back yard is incredible. The bbq was burgers, brats, pork loin with beans, salads and cookie. There was more stuff but I can’t remember. Please do not hesitate to go to Thursday nights. I had a group of about 25 people and everyone was very happy.

I have been wanting to try this place for a while and finally had the opportunity. It definitely lived up to his reputation. The food was delicious! I had the battered white fish with potatoes and a house salad. The fish was very tasty, and the potatoes simply melted in my mouth. The house salad was very fresh and quite large for a side salad. My friend had the Mushroom and Sherry Soup, along with the Chopped Salad. She raved about both. Very good coffee and the service was excellent as well. We were both very pleased with our lunch and will definitely come back.
