Wanted to give a quick thank you to Jamie (Owner of Nelson Lake Lodge). We had a dead battery when launching the boat next door at the public landing and he saved the day with a jump pack. We had a phenomenal rest of the day on Nelson Lake and stopped by Nelson Lake Lodge for Pizza + Drinks and enjoyed the atmosphere this place had to offer. A+ service and awesome lake!

We come up here by boat and it is very convenient. Both times we have gone here it was mid afternoon and so the bar was slow. Both times the bartender was very friendly and the few folks at the bar were as well.

The new owners at Nelson Lake Lodge are fun! The bar is a great place to meet folks and have a drink! I thought I read about ribs during week... More research needed!

What a great week we had! The owners are so wonderful and accommodating. The campground is very clean and our site was nice. They do have fire pits, you just have to ask for one and they wheel it to your site. There are only 2 temporary sites and the rest are seasonal so it was extremely quiet while we were there during the week. We rented a dock spot during our stay and it was super convenient being able to just walk a few hundred yards to our boat. They do have power by the docks for anyone needing to charge gps/fish finders. I can’t say enough nice things about the owners and would definitely come back again. The fishing was awesome too and the lake is HUGE!

My husband and I stayed at this lovely place for our anniversary. It was beautiful and the hosts were so nice and friendly and helpful. We rented a boat and caught crappies one right after another. The suite was absolutely lovely with everything we could have ever wanted and then some. It was so clean and nice. We are definitely coming back next year with more family members. It had a large deck off the patio door which was so nice. I wish we could have stayed longer this time. Next year we will plan to stay longer since it was so relaxing and nice.

If you’re longing to experience the north woods comfortably than stay at Nelson Lake Lodge. We spent a week in their new lake front RV. It is clean, nicely appointed, and very comfortable. The view of the lake is sublime and the huge elm trees near the camper provide plenty of shade. The kids loved the sandy beach and I loved the great service and reasonable prices. In the age of Covid you won’t find a better place to vacation safely and affordably.

It was clean, comfortable, spacious and air conditioned! The new owners are wonderful and made us feel at home. Best yet it had comfortable beds! There is a playground for little kids and a community area where you can get ice cream, beer and pizza. We are already booked for next year!

Just left the new rental RV at Nelson Lake Lodge. It was very hard to leave!!! The RV has an awesome view of the lake and is perfectly shaded by trees during the afternoon. The RV itself is an amazing value for the price. All our needs were met in this cozy, comfortable and very clean camper. Immediate access to the playground area makes it a perfect option for families with young children. Looking forward to going back! Thank you for a wonderful week, Nelson Lake Lodge!
