This is a lovely little motel. It is very clean and the beds were comfortable. The suite has a full kitchen with a stove and dishwasher and a full-size fridge. Great for getting ski equipment too and from your car with the motel entrance, a perk I’ve never really thought about it until this stay.

A Northwoods gem! It is and remains my go to place when I am in Hayward and have stayed here many times both in the summer for fishing on area lakes and in the winter to snowshoe and enjoy other winter activities. The rooms were all recently refurbished by the new owners and were warm, comfortable and well appointed. I love the ability to park my car a few feet from my room making easy to carry in luggage. Owners Rayna and Steve are great hosts and I am looking forward to my next visit in the summer.

Love this Motel! It’s conveniently located but still in a quiet setting. Recently updated and very cozy, clean and welcoming.
Plenty of large parking spaces, and the owners keep everything running smoothly.
I will always stay here when in the Hayward area.

Friendly guy at check in, room was spotless and very comfortable! I'm in Hayward 6 or 7 times a year and will definitely will stay here again while our family cabin is winterized or occupied!

Absolutely loved the spacious room and decor. It was so inviting and relaxing. Even though we were right off the highway we didn't hear the traffic at all.
The bed was comfy, we slept really well. We've been telling everyone we know what a beautiful place it is to stay, and we'll most definitely be back in the future.

Arrival date of 09/05/2024. My wife and I arrived a little earlier than the check-in time of 3pm. Our room was ready and we were allowed to check in early! We really appreciated this!

Upon entering the room, my wife looked at me and told me what a great job I had done finding this gem for our stay. Our room was very clean and the decor was nice. She liked the flooring in the bathroom area and the walls around the whole room.

The Northwoods Motel was easy to find and in a great location. Just a mile or so out of Hayward everything was convenient to get to (local shops, restaurants and attractions.

We definitely recommend! You won’t be disappointed.

This hotel is definitely a hidden gem. The rooms are impeccably clean. The showers are wonderful and there is plenty of water pressure. The staff is very courteous and friendly. We would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area. This is a family run business and it shows. They pay attention to every single detail
