Fireseed Catering truly went above and beyond for our wedding day. The communication was impeccable right from the start—Dave and Dawn were always prompt, clear, and incredibly organized, which put our minds at ease throughout the entire process.

Their dedication and passion for what they do were evident in every detail. The beautiful grounds of Fireseed provided the perfect backdrop for our ceremony and reception, creating a magical atmosphere that our guests are still raving about. The food was INCREDIBLE and we have had multiple people sharing how great it was. Dave and Dawn’s love for their craft shone through, adding a personal touch that made our day unforgettable. WOW. Where to begin… my husband and I cannot say enough wonderful things about Fireseed. Our wedding was an absolute dream and it’s all thanks to Dave, Dawn, Anna, and everyone on the Fireseed team. If you’re looking for a venue that has quintessential PNW vibes, the most fresh and delicious food, and kind and lovely people, you’ve found your spot (stop searching, seriously). Our guests to this day still talk about our wedding and how it was the best they have ever been to; wonderful food, beautiful scenery, and an all-star team behind the scenes.

When it came to planning, everyone was A+. We had no idea what we were doing and Dave guided us through the entire process, always quick to respond and answer all of our questions. He provided us with a template timeline for the day, took care of coordinating rentals, and gave us recommendations as different items came up. Dave is a lifesaver!

Dawn and Anna were on point for the day of coordination, rehearsal, and tour. They were so professional and are truly experts. There was never a moment of stress because they were already steps ahead, I actually think they could read my mind.

The Fireseed grounds are impeccable. I dare you to find somewhere more idyllic. When we stepped foot out of the car on the day of our tour we knew instantly this was the place for our wedding. It was so special to share such a slice of heaven with all of our family and friends.

The food.. the FOOD. Dave and Dawn are truly masters of their craft. Dave provided a wide array of options and helped us create a custom menu. I also can’t forget to mention the delightful to-go bag of our meal at the end of the night to take back to our hotel.

We will continue to shout from the rooftops that Fireseed is THE greatest venue and the best decision we made. But the cherry on top are the genuine and kindhearted people who made our day possible; we can’t express our gratitude enough. Thank you to Dave, Dawn, Anna, and everyone else at Fireseed!

How do I even write something that does this wonderful place justice! We got married in July of 2023 and I truly wish I could relive the day over and over again.

Dave, Dawn, and Anna are kind and relaxed but super organized and know exactly how to run a wedding. Dave met with us about 6 months out to talk menu and rentals and was so helpful when deciding on courses, florals, glassware etc. He was even able to fulfill my dad's last minute request for ice cream sandwiches two weeks before the date! Dawn ran the rehearsal efficiently and made sure that everyone knew where they were supposed to be at what time and even gave us tips about how to stand at the alter. Anna was the point person on the day of and made sure we were kept on schedule, but never made us feel rushed or late.

Th property itself is absolutely stunning so you don't even need many decorations or florals. The space really speaks for itself.

Lastly, the food. This was maybe the most important thing to me when choosing a wedding venue and it did not disappoint! The appetizers were so inventive and used lots of fresh veggies and herbs from their garden. For mains we went with fried chicken with fingerling potatoes and seared salmon with mango chutney and brown butter spaetzle. And for dessert we had a hard time deciding between all of Dawn's dessert options so we went with 4: Cheesecake, lemon cake, chocolate peanut butter cake, and carrot cake. Everything was delicious and so fresh!

It was the best day and I am just hoping that one of our friends decides to get married there so we can experience another wedding at this amazing place!

We had the best wedding here and appreciate the Fireseed Catering team so much for all their amazing work and guidance through the planning and event. Some highlights of what we got at this venue:
- A gorgeous venue. We couldn't have hoped for better. Inside/outside space was great for kids & COVID concerns.
- AMAZING food AND dessert. Truly, restaurant quality food.
- Bring your own alcohol. Saved us a fortune. And having a cocktail hour and then switching to beer and wine was perfect. We had our doubts but it was definitely for the best!
- Guidance in planning. David walked us through the process and was a great resource when we were trying to figure out where to splurge and where to skimp, what was necessary and what was overkill. So much of it is done in-house, it really simplifies planning but isn't one size fits all.
- Day of coordination/rehearsal guidance - Dawn, we would have been lost without you. Thank you. They told us where to be when and took care of everything around us so we could just enjoy our day.
- An added bonus was that we loved the rest of the staff! They were so sweet and did an excellent job all around.

Getting out of state folks to Whidbey Island for a weekend is definitely a logistical consideration. Otherwise, Fireseed will give you a beautiful and tasteful wedding in as seamless a way as possible in terms of putting on a wedding. We loved it so much. Thank you David, Dawn, Anna, and the rest of the staff!!

DREAM TEAM! If I could give Dave, Dawn, Anna and the Fireside team more than 5 stars I would! When you are looking for a wedding venue, you not only want a venue with gorgeous aesthetic/atmosphere, you also want a team that is going to execute your vision have your back on the big day. You get all of this and more at Fireseed. The Fireseed team made the entire planning process seamless and stress free for us. I had a lot of questions throughout the planning process and Dave was so patient and quick to respond with helpful answers. From coordinating rentals, menus vendors--Fireseed brought our vision to life and made our big day so special. On our wedding day, Dawn and Anna handled all of the day of coordination so we could be in the moment and enjoy our day.

Did I mention how gorgeous the venue is?! The venue grounds are breathtaking. We got married in August so there were flowers everywhere. You honestly don't need much additional décor because of the beauty the venue offers. We had the ceremony outside, followed by the reception in the barn which offers a beautiful, spacious area to continue the festivities.

The food is also some of the best you will have! We worked with Dave and Dawn to come up with a customized menu for our wedding and they did not disappoint. I had so many guests and vendors come up to me to tell me that it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding!

I cannot say enough good things about Dave, Dawn, Anna and the entire Fireseed team. One of a kind venue, one of a kind team. Thanks for everything!!

Dave and Dawn and the whole Fireseed team helped us bring our dream wedding to life. I can't imagine having worked with a more responsive, accommodating, and reassuring team when we had to delay our wedding by a year due to COVID. From coordinating rentals, vendors, and the day of run of show, Fireseed does an amazing job to make planning a wedding with them seamless and fun. On our actual wedding day, they handled all of the details so all we had to do was enjoy our day.

There are so many things that make Fireseed special, but here are a few things that really stand out:

1. The venue itself is STUNNING. The grounds are covered in flower and vegetable gardens. If you want to show off PNW beauty, this is your place. Our guests had so much fun exploring. The barn where we held the reception is also gorgeous, and we really like that it had a separate lounge and bar area where our guests could sit and chat away from the dancing. I really cannot emphasize enough just how beautiful Fireseed is.
2. You will not find better food than at Fireseed. Dave and Dawn are professionally trained chefs, and everything from the passed hor d'oeuvres to pies were to die for. Most of the produce is grown locally on site, so everything is super fresh. Do not miss out on the ice cream sandwiches!
3. The staff provided outstanding service. Our day of coordinator Anna was so on top of every detail and made us feel so special. They took all of the stress out of the day so that we could just enjoy ourselves and take it all in.
4. Dave and Dawn! They are so easy and fun to work with. All of our vendors also love working with them and were very excited to be able to return for our wedding. They helped keep us organized and on track with planning and went out of their way accommodate last minute changes. We truly cannot thank them enough for helping us pull off a dream wedding we thought might never happen due to COVID.

Fireseed is a truly special place, and we are now on a mission to convince all of our friends to get married there so we have an excuse to go back!

My husband and I had our wedding at Fireseed in September 2018. We searched the entirety of Whidbey Island for the perfect venue and could not have been more thrilled our experience at Fireseed. The grounds are immaculate and the coordination throughout the year as well as the day-of was absolutely flawless. Not to mention the incredible food and cake! Bear in mind I was just a guest and can only comment on what I saw. The staff is highly attentive and the food is delicious. They aren't kidding when they say they grow all their veggies on site. I cannot recommend them enough with my third party experience. Thank you Fireseed! That was the smoothest running wedding I have ever been to.
