I popped into this cafe on a Thursday morning & it was super chill. I loved the ceramics & the owner told me that his wife makes them! How cool is that!

I enjoyed the cappuccino & currant scone which was an amazing combo. Worth a try if you’re around the area!

This shop is the perfect example of what we need more of in Seattle. They serve some of the best medium-light roast coffees in the world from roasters including Sey, Ilse and La Cabra. Those coffees are meticulously dialed in each day by one of the owners, Clinton, to ensure each extraction throughout the day is perfect, and if you get their drinks to consume in the cafe they're served in ceramics made by the other owner, Rachel. The shop is modern and bright without feeling trendy and dull, and has extra seating the owners added to the shop making it feel more inviting and encouraging to stay. They serve pastries from Sea Wolf made fresh everyday, which just happens to be one of my favorite Seattle bakeries. The owners are always friendly and excited to talk, providing wonderful service, which gets me excited to be a regular at this shop.

YES. YES. YES. This place is doing it right! You can tell that the owners deeply care about the craft of coffee and have dialed in some amazing single origin coffees from various roasters. Their roasters will rotate every couple of months so that you can try a variety of delicious coffees. Their menu is simple but has something for everyone… but this place is especially exciting for the coffee enthusiasts. This is by far the best shot of espresso I have had in Seattle! A new favorite coffee shop for SURE.

Partners sourcing the finest coffees, knowing the culture, and making the ceramic to serve the best coffee.

Keep an eye on this place. They’ll expand and be everywhere.

They served a Colombian shot that was like Chanukah - it just kept giving. Dutifully, I kicked my finger and dragged it through the empty cup and the flavor kept coming.

These folks are the people who push coffee to a whole ‘notha level. The Michael Jordan’s of coffee; the Simone Biles of coffee.

Do yourself a favor and get in here and fall in love with the best drink on earth.

Homage serves some of the best coffee in Seattle in a beautiful, bright, modern space. They focus on medium to light roast coffees from a rotating selection of some of the best modern roasters in the US and Europe (e.g. currently Sey, La Cabra, and Ilse), brewing them with care and attention to detail. Drinks to stay are served in custom ceramics made by one of the owners. Both the owners are friendly and welcoming, happy to share their extensive knowledge about coffee without being pretentious. They seem keen to make their cafe a community hub for coffee lovers. The excellent coffee, beautiful space, and great vibes make Homage my favorite Seattle cafe.

How did I not know about this?!! Owners really care about their customers, coffee, ceramics etc. and one of them actually makes the cups we drink coffees in! How cool is that 🙂

Easily the best coffee shop in Ballard, maybe in Seattle. The owner and staff here are knowledgeable and care about what they're making. Every coffee is perfectly crafted and served in beautiful ceramics. The atmosphere is cozy and clean. Great experience every single time.

Lovely coffees both hot and iced, and it was refreshing not to have a super dark roast. There was and a nice friendly atmosphere inside, much more so than with the previous owners (ROOT).
