This is a very nice venue. I have attended one wedding there, was in another wedding there, and stayed there at the bed and breakfast on another occasion. The property always looked very nice and clean. The owners try to be accommodating but strongly lean towards doing things their way....which I understand considering that they have to deal with any issues after their guests leave. The barn does not have climate control so plan your attire according. Overall a beautiful setting for a wedding.

We had our wedding here at the end of September '17 and the venue was beautiful! Lots of great places to set up and beautiful view in every direction. We couldn't have been happier with how everything looked and felt! There is no cell signal however the owners do have wifi in the house (not the barn).

Our experience with the owners left much to be desired however. They have a very specific way that they want things done and were difficult to work with at times during the event. While Jim did a lot of the moving and cleaning and Mary Lou provided breakfast for the overnight guests, we were forced to make several last minute plan changes after being assured by the owners in the months prior regarding certain plans. We even needed to find a new venue on the fly for our Sunday brunch after arranging plans with them months before. To top it off, after the event, we were told that additional fees were due that were never mentioned before and were not in the contract.

In summary, the grounds are beautiful and this is by far the best spot for a wedding in an amazingly special location. Be prepared when dealing with the owners however and come prepared to make last minute adjustments to your plans and budget.

The wedding venue is beautiful, however...the owners were a real piece of work. Their dog attended the reception and this was very disturbing considering it was a black tie event and there was food. At one point during the reception the owner began to tear down the tables, the reception was still going and he threw tablecloths in the floor ( which were rented) and the dog laid on them. He seemed to want to put a damper on things, yet we worked around them and it turned out even better by our changing some things. Strongly advise be careful and read everything. They have conflicting information posted and will try to charge you more.

Visited here for a wedding and reception. Beautiful barn and open spaces. The house is also large and accommodating. Somewhat inconvenient that they cater to special events, but you have to walk down stairs and across uneven gravel to get to the bathrooms. In all, great venue for a natural, secluded, rustic event.

Beautiful venue. Had my wedding there but the owners were very difficult to work with. They attended the reception, ate my food and my cake. Did not have a good experience and was very stressed throughout the entire weekend due to the owners.

This is the Best Family gathering spot, Jim and MaryLou are amazing. Anything you need they are there for you. The designs that they have put together are truly unique to them. All of our family and friends love the place and ask "How did you find it?" Or I have a friend who would love to use this place. I need to plan a party there every year for any occasion. This year the iris were in full bloom surrounded by Hostas. Words can't express how pretty it is. 5 STAR ++++

The Caleb R review is not from this Bed and Breakfast. Maybe something in Texas where he is from? We have been trying to get it removed through google for a while with no success.

It is an amazing setting with great facilities. I also can't say enough about the owners. They were very kind and great to work with.
