Stayed here for almost 4 months. Excellent service cleaning room. Great location. Very close to downtown and convenience store. Only minor thing is shower is very small. But how much time do you really spend in a shower? Overall, I would highly recommend this place for short or long term stay. Rooms are being newly remodeled. They look nice. And bed is comfortable too.

10/10 experience would stay here again, the room overall over-exceeded expectations with the renovations that was made. Management and staff were very helpful and insightful. Finally my favorite thing about this place is that it has a lot of nice attractions and restaurants.

Great place to stay at, had comfortable beds, with a smart tv, microwave, and very nice room overall. Management was amazing and helped me out with everything I needed. Would definitely recommend.

Would not stay here again. The motel is outdated and needs major repairs. Some updates have been made, but not enough. The sink has cigarette burns around it and the bathtub was stained. However the shower head was new and worked well. The beds were clean and comfortable. I would not feel comfortable staying here alone or with a friend as it did not seem safe. It seems that there are people who live at this motel. People hanging out in the parking lot and sitting on the outside of the rooms drinking and smoking weed are some of what we encountered while we were there for a two-night stay. The motel is in downtown Sparta and within walking distance to the trails and restaurants, but also located at a busy intersection, so you will hear loud traffic all night. The owner was nice, so sorry for the poor rating, but had to give honest feedback on our experience at the Sparta Inn.

Would not stay here again. Motel is very dated and in need of repair. Even the asphalt parking lot is in bad shape. Other reviewers stated that there are long term residents living at the motel, which seemed to be the case. Sketchy. Surprisingly the beds were clean and comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was good.

The rooms are clean. The beds are amazing. The owner and manager are super accommodating. And the rates are a great value. I would recommend if you're going to be in Sparta this is the place to stay. Not to mention Rudy's drive in is next door!

This is a small one story motel close to the bike trail really trying to be better.The bed and pillows were super comfortable. The air conditioner was fine and more important quiet. The controls were low and accessible--especially important for a short person. The bathroom looked brand new. It is close to a few restaurants. It included a frig, microwave, coffee maker, accessible outlets (on the lamp) for chargers and free Wifi (had to call for a password). Also room for an extra bed if needed. Everything was clean except the windows. The outside paint and room decor was a little odd and the furniture was old but sturdy but that hardly mattered. The only thing that concerned me was overflowing dumpster one door down (emptied the next day) and the guests smoking and hanging out in front of their rooms. Although it is a small town and quiet, I was slightly nervous at night and piled my grocery bag and cooler in front of the door and on the table in front of the window. An extra lock would have make me feel more at ease. For the price it was fine.
