I loved this place!! My stay was fantastic! The cabin i was in was clean and comfortable. The smell of the pinewood when I first walked in, it was the best! This place made me feel at home. Far enough out in the country for peace and quiet but still close enough to town where the drive wasn't to long! I highly recommend them.

We really enjoyed these quaint little cabins very close to the Sparta Elroy biking trail. They were clean and decorated adorably. Glenn and patty were very friendly and helpful. Since we were caught in rain during our trail ride, our bikes were completely covered with mud and they offered to let us hose them down at their house.

I can not recommend these cabins enough! I stayed in Bear Lodge ( Cabin 2), and it was perfect! Clean, cozy, and comfy cabin, with a walking trail, so beautiful in Fall.

I stayed here four days while visiting the Shrine of our Lady of Guadalupe in LaCrosse. Cabins are about a 35-40 minute drive away, with an extremely beautiful and scenic route.

Do plan to stay a couple days, and really allow peace to return to your soul, in the quiet, country atmosphere!

Where to start the stay was amazing. My wife and I came there with three kids and a dog and had plenty room for everyone inside and out. Glen was absolutely great letting the kids feed the calves and watch the cows get milked. He has apassion for farming that makes you want to become a farmer until he tells you how many days hes has had off. Definitely a labor of love. Patty was amazing as well could talk to her for hours like you knew her forever. There family is wonderful and made the stay a little more special.The cabins were charming and quaint perfect for a getaway to remember forever. Sparta and surrounding communities have a lot to offer and to enjoy. We will be back again!!!! Thanks for the great memories.

Wonderful short getaway. Our cabin was just perfect for us. So peaceful. We enjoyed a fire at the firepit every night. Enjoyed watching the dairy cows. Would definately stay here again. The owners were super nice.

We had a wonderful time! Patty makes it very homey and cozy for her guests. For my husband and I during this pandemic, we have been very restricted from going anywhere due to severe health issues of our children and family who we help take care of. Therefore we had to be more careful than others folks. Between working from home, homeschooling three kids, and other essential errands everyday, mom and dad needed a break. This was a wonderful weekend break. Even during -21° temperatures!! It is warm, cozy and beautiful. We highly recommend it. We will be going back again and again. 👍🏞️❤️⭐🪵

We were doing the Sparta-Elroy Bike Trail (see review if you're interested) and looking for something relatively close to either end of the trail where we could also bring our dog. There aren't many options! But we were so happy to find Grapevine Log Cabins! There are 4(?) of them on a working dairy farm. So yes, you will smell the cows when you go past them but it is also fascinating to see how they are milked and the milk collected. You'll also find some of the most beautiful quilt work which was made by the current owner's grandmother. ||||There is a small playset for little kids, grills, a fire pit. Cabin comes with 4 beds. There is a TV but it will only allow DVDs to be played (there are 100s of them in the main office area). This was fine for us - who wants to be hooked on a screen when you're on holiday? ||||There is a small bar fridge and they had left us milk, yogurt, fruit, some muffins and bottled water. There were also mixed cereals and disposable cups, bowls, spoons etc - because there is no sink (apart from the basin in the bathroom). There is a Keurig coffee machine and tea bags. ||||The weekend we went was 95*+ and the little a/con unit and fans in the cabin were able to keep us cool. ||||Beds were super comfortable, curtains and blinds blocked out the light. It was really clean and perfect for 3 of us. ||||A great little find and close enough to town to get to restaurants, grocery store etc.
