Excellent, well prepared, fresh food in a sparkly clean establishment. Super friendly service and chef. Also offers local WV products like maple syrup, local chocolate, coffee etc ..

The chili was delicious as was the pasta salad with spinach wrap. Highly recommend! 🌞🇺🇲💟

Stumbled upon this hidden gem on our recent adventure. The best breakfast/brunch we had in a LONG time. Everything’s super fresh and delicious. We had the berry mandarin wrap and the egg salad croissant, and a cheesecake afterwards. Their fruit iced tea is the best one i had in the us. The service was really friendly and helpful, also one of the best we had in a while. Dont miss on the opportunity to support a local small busines, especially if it’s this one

Fruits of Labor — may be Alderson’s most precious gem! I’ve only picked up lunch twice here but we have not been disappointed. The egg salad croissant sandwich and pasta salad are insanely good! My husband loves the ham salad croissant and pasta. DO NOT miss out on this bakery’s incredible carrot cake cookies too! Holy Guacamole, the bakery items are what dreams are made of, for real!🍪😍 This bakery/cafe closes at 3pm so make sure you swing by when you’re able. You’ll see them making fresh pasta salad and other items at 2pm, since the end of day crowd is just as busy as lunchtime. You can call in your order ahead of time; however, there’s no need. The service is expeditious and the food is delicious!!

Love this cafe and visit it everytime I am in the area. First of all I love supporting the mission that Fruits of Labor does. But that being said the service is always top notch, with prices being more than fair. Most importantly the food always hits the spot and is fresh and tasty. PS: Their chili is amazing! 😍

This is a sweet little coffee shop with a great mission! They've got great coffee, FABULOUS baked goods (their cookies are amazing), and a cute space to stop in and have lunch. They're really plugged into and supportive of the local community. Definitely worth the stop!

I was recommended this place for lunch by a colleague, and am MOST grateful for this tip! There's not a whole lot of advertising or signage, so you will likely drive by it if you're not keenly LOOKING for it. Hands down THE best little place for lunch! They bake their breads right there. The food is SO tasty and SO fresh!!! I cannot say enough about it! Oh, and the people? The absolute BEST! Kind, courteous and very efficient!! LOVE IT ❤️

If you are visiting Alderson you've got to try this place for lunch, what a great little shop. We were visiting a friend and she mentioned this place and that they have a wonderful selection of sandwiches and salads. I spotted the Ruben on the menu and asked if they could switch the Swiss cheese out for the blue cheese and they were very accommodating and the tomato soup is fresh not some pureed can hopefull. Both of my friends had salads that were very nice size too! Now we were there before the 3pm closing but if it's a Tuesday stay for the farmers market in the same parking lot that starts at 3pm I wish I could have stayed but I had a 4 hr trip ahead of me.
OH but I got a piece of carrot cake to go LoL
