Stopped in the visitors center on our way to the Sandstone falls. The staff was extremely friendly helpful and informative . I was able to pick up a map and information of the area as well as directions to the falls. The town of Hinton was a beautiful old town with lots of history and situated right on the New River. What a beautiful area.

My family and I stopped in here on our way to Sandstone Falls, the ladies were very nice! They spent a good deal of time letting us know about the area, the river, tourism. You can tell they love their town and take a lot of pride in their community. They are true ambassadors and assets to Hinton, WV.

My GF and I stopped in here on our way across the country, and the ladies working here were SOOOO nice! They spent a good deal of time and energy letting us know about the area, the river, tourism, the town's history, etc. Not only were they knowledgeable, but they were enthusiastic about their town and took a lot of pride in their community. They are real assets to Hinton, WV. I'll remember my visit here for a long time!
