What a great place! We were on our way through and stopped on a whim and were thrilled with the results.

Where to start? The food was the best Mexican food we've had in a long time. We both ordered taco salads and they were huge! The meat, peppers, and onions were perfectly grilled and the romaine lettuce added a nice touch. The avocados were fresh-lots of them--and it all came quickly and was hot enough that the cheese was melted on top nicely.

They serve a bowl of chips with the meal and though it's a deli-style ordering service (which I actually like) the service was great. Lots of people and they kept things clean (even the bathrooms) and quick. It was also a good deal for the price

I also liked the salsa bar, it's always nice to be able to choose your condiments in life!

We're planning on stopping when we come back through to try the sopapillas, which looked amazing.

It was my first time going and it was pretty good! The California burrito was great, and the nachos were my favorite! The torta was okay, the bread was a bit too soft for me and it almost tasted like a hamburger. My daughter had the chicken strips and fries which the fries were good but the chicken strips were pretty basic, which isn’t bad for children. The strawberry and cream drink was good! I wished they had strawberry horchata. They have 4 different salsas which I enjoyed and they gave us a free bowl of chips. The atmosphere is wonderful! Service was good too, we didn’t get checked on too much but that’s okay since there’s no designated waiter. (You order your food at the desk and then they bring it to you)

We ALWAYS stop to eat here when we are passing through Wasilla! It’s one of the best texmex places in Alaska. I normally get fajitas which are always on point. Today I decided to try a poblano taco (shredded beef) which was juicy and flavorful. (Not spicy) and just get a fajita taco. Hubby got a chicken chimichanga (his all time fave) and he said it was good too! Also check out the salsa bar. They are friendly, fast and delicious. Don’t miss this parks highway deliciousness.

Wow! I have ordered delivery in the past and the food has always been great, but a must-try in person. Service is amazing and atmosphere is so fun and lively. Food/salsa bar was awesome. Great value, large portions and they now have beer and wine margaritas.

Service is spectacular, they got us everything we needed. Very clean, they were sweeping the whole time we were here. Food was amazing, I got chicken tacos and fries and my husband got tacos poblanos. Adorable place too!!!

Taco's Cancun is a perfect balance of quality, atmosphere, and value. I have been Alaskan since 2002, but came from the Pacific Northwest and was fortunately exposed to some travel and dining. Unless you are a total snob who hates people having fun doing a great job and being around happy customers, you can't go wrong at Taco's Cancun in Wasilla, Alaska. I brought a picky eater there today after a 6 day stay in the hospital and a major surgery. It was a first for her. The experience made her happy and feel better. Hands down, they are awesome. Our servers were all top notch tonight too. I need to go back so I can recall their names.

Wasilla has a shining star in the reasturant business and that name is Taco Cancun Mexican Grill. The staff was great and the food was excellent. We had a variety of foods and there was no complaints at all. We are up visiting and hoping to make it to Taco Cancun before leaving. Will I go back? Hell yes.
As I said I would come back and a year later here we are. The food didn't disappoint us. The food was really good and service was great. Will I come back? Yes in another year.
