My initial impression of the restaurant wasn’t great, but it grew on me a little. When I entered, it took a while to get seated, and the interior felt somewhat small. However, the unique decor was definitely a positive aspect.

I ordered a lemon drop cocktail, but it had very little alcohol and tasted more like water—so I didn’t order a second one. For my entrée, I chose the Wallie because of the many options available. I was thoroughly impressed and ended up finishing the entire dish.

It was a fantastic recommendation from my waitress.

This is my favorite restaurant in Wheeling. Everything on the menu is great, especially the crepes. The Smores Latte is phenomenal.

I recently got a chance to have lunch here while I was in Wheeling. Their food is delicious! I got the Ruben sandwich and chips, and enjoyed it. The corned beef and sauerkraut are mixed, and there was just enough Russian/thousand Island dressing to not overwhelm and drip everywhere. Their kettle cooked chips are also very good!

Enjoyed! What a nice surprise after spending a week on the road and having most of our lunch stops at the mediocre (at best!) places. From a cute location, conveniently located close to the interstate, to the fun interior decor, to a tasty food, which reminded me of my Childhood in Eastern Europe + travel to France + American - all mixed in those sweet and savory crapes. Hope to pass by this place on another road trip...

This was the third time that we’ve been in. The drink specials early in the week are killer for a quick and cheap beer. The food offerings are unique and diverse, and everything that I’ve had has tasted really good. The one star off is due to price and service. Sandwiches are around $15-$18 dollars with a side of chips. Real entrees more. The food is good, but not $18/sandwich and chips good. We sat outside this past visit and the service wasn’t as up to par as it usually is.

Let me start by saying the food here was good. The spinach salad is fantastic and so fresh. The artichoke dip is served cold (which was a new take), but it was good, maybe a little too salty. The croque madame was good, too. I saved it for a breakfast sandwich, and it was perfect. Definitely a little too pricey for the quality of food you get. The one thing that put me off was I called and asked if the patio was open and was told "no", so I placed a togo order and while I was waiting for my food two people in front of me were told that they could sit outside on the patio and eat....why tell me it was closed then?!

Neat little restaurant remodeled from an 1880's bar. Eclectic decor with mix and historical Wheeling items combined with the whimsical.

Our server was friendly, place was clean, food came out fast and was very tasty. We thought the menu prices were a little high, but not so much that we wouldn't go back. Worth checking out if you're in the area.
