We stayed at the lodge, slope side in room 203.
The views from the bottom of squirrel cage and the Face slopes were very enjoyable watching the skiers and boarders come down one of the steepest pitches on the mountain.
The room was slightly outdated, but was comfortable. Nothing fancy. My biggest complaint was the pull out bed- don’t expect much sleep on one of these. Get the room with two beds if you have two people.
We were pleasantly surprised with the accommodations inside the lodge. The pool I huge! They have three restaurants in the lodge as well as a variety of amenities- ski and snowboard shop and tech services.
The breakfast is a little light on traditional breakfast foods during the week, but it was enough for me and the pancake machine was awesome!
We will definitely be back when there is more snow and more slopes open!

We were here to help our kids learn to ski/snowboard and for that it was an awesome place! Easy to get the rentals and to get out on the slopes. The instructor we had a month ago for their lesson was an awesome guy and teacher. I don’t know how good the slopes are for experienced snowboarders who want a challenge, but it was awesome for beginners. We will definitely be back!

We went to Wisp over a long weekend to ski and had a wonderful experience, especially with the service. We had a booking issue and the staff were very helpful and accommodating at sorting it out. The ski lockers were very convenient to the slopes which made popping in and out during the good skiing conditions very easy. The skiing itself was great; I traveled with a beginner who found the large assortment of greens and blues very fulfilling. As an intermediate, I enjoyed the blues, blacks, and the night skiing. I would especially recommend for families. One thing to note is that the food options are a bit limited and perhaps not to everyone’s taste, so plan ahead. The lodge has many different areas, so try to use as many of the facilities as possible!

Was given two different boots with the same number, when brought back after a couple runs feeling off they acknowledged it was because they were different but that it wasn’t a mistake they were paired together.

Place has no proper signs directing you to rentals/pass pickup/lockers/exit to lift. Spent 30 minutes driving door to door asking where to go.

Several employees acted like they hated their jobs and didn’t want to be there.

Had to walk up the hill and over a good 60m to get to the lift. Signs on the mountain were pit of the way and you had to climb back up after reading them to take a trail.

I say all this because the mountain itself was beautiful for late winter early spring but the management of it makes me want to go anywhere else.

The resort’s location is unbeatable—right next to the slopes with everything you need close by. The on-site restaurant offers exceptional service, the food is decent, and the rental process is smooth and well-organized. However, the rooms are in serious need of updates; it doesn’t seem like much has changed since my stays here in the 80s. You’re essentially paying for the location.

The front desk staff is friendly but could benefit from additional training. One major downside is the lack of in-room phones, making it difficult to reach staff when needed. Additionally, they strictly adhere to policies—no flexibility on late checkouts, even when the room isn't booked afterward, which can be inconvenient.

The business center is quite small, so if it's occupied, you're out of luck. The complimentary breakfast is minimal, offering little more than coffee and cereal.

If convenience and proximity to the slopes are your top priorities, this resort is a solid choice. However, if you’re looking for modern comforts and upgraded amenities, you may want to explore other options.

Hotel review - I recently stayed 3 nights at this hotel and was very underwhelmed with my accommodations. The biggest issues with the room were the dirty linens on the bed and the bed itself, which was uncomfortable. On the positive side, the continental breakfast each morning was very convenient before a day of skiing. It's obvious the daily rate is due to its proximity to the mountain but for the price, you may be better off looking at alternate accommodations and driving to the resort.

Ski resort review - This was my first time visiting Wisp Resort and I had a very good experience as a beginner skier. The staff were very friendly and helpful at guest services and at the rental office. I skied on a Friday and Saturday and the crowds on Saturday were noticeably larger, but even with that, the wait times for the chairlifts weren't too bad. The biggest issue is that the Mountain Report on Wisp's website is not completely accurate so it's best to double check with staff before starting. During my trip, several runs and chairlifts were marked "Open" online but were closed. This was disappointing. Overall, I'd recommend this resort to beginner skiers as the green runs were fun.

We had an amazing day trip to Wisp Resort from Linthicum, and it was totally worth the drive! We didn’t use the rooms since we only came for the day, but the overall experience was still a solid 5/5.

We visited in March, which turned out to be perfect — the weather was cold but comfortable, with beautiful snow and no long lines or big crowds. Our 4-year-old daughter had a blast in the snow, and even our 1-year-old enjoyed the chill winter vibes.

The resort is clean, well-organized, and super family-friendly. Staff were good, and the atmosphere was relaxed. Definitely recommending Wisp Resort for anyone looking for a fun, easygoing winter adventure — especially in March!

If you’re skiing at Wisp, staying at Wisp resort is the way to go. Yes, the rooms could use some updating, but they were clean and spacious and had everything we needed. Everyone who worked there was so nice and helpful. And you get a locker for your ski gear, which is super convenient. You can basically just walk straight out from the lockers and onto Lifts 2 and 3. As a final plus, they allow dogs! So it was really easy to take a break from skiing to walk them.
