I’ve lived at Roxalana Hills for a while now, and overall, it’s been a great experience. The maintenance team is incredible, addressing issues quickly, often within 24 hours or less. This past month, we had a kitchen fire, and the Roxalana staff was amazing. They handled everything with kindness and efficiency, ensuring the process was smooth and stress-free. Our beautifully updated kitchen is a testament to their hard work. ( Included a video below! )

The location is great – close to the interstate for quick trips into Charleston or Dunbar, but peaceful and tucked away on a hill surrounded by nature. The pool and gym are well-maintained, and having a washer and dryer in the unit is a big perk.

Parking, however, is a challenge. Assigned parking would make a huge difference as the complex fills up. Another issue is some residents not cleaning up after their dogs, making certain areas unpleasant to walk through. Better enforcement of the rules would help.

While the rent feels a bit high compared to similar options in the area, the sense of safety and the excellent staff make it worth considering. The management team is kind and professional, and the community events they host are a nice touch. Overall, Roxalana Hills is a great place to live with a few areas for improvement.

I've been here for over 5 years now and living in this apartment complex has been nothing short of amazing! The amenities are outstanding, offering a pool, fitness center, tennis court, basketball court, and even a fantastic dog park. The well-kept grounds create a peaceful setting, perfect for relaxing walks and enjoying the surroundings. The maintenance team is always prompt and reliable, and the office staff is friendly and supportive. It truly feels like the perfect place to call home!

I moved here a year ago from the Philippines. I instantly fell in love with our place. The management are so welcoming, the ambiance is relaxing. I love to walk around the apartment complex because the view is amazing specially during spring and fall! Best amenities, my personal favorite - is the pool during summer! I am well pleased on how prompt the maintenance team. A big thanks to you guys specially during winter. I feel safe here, our neighbors are kind and always smiling. I must say Roxalana Hills is now my second home. ❤️

Very overpriced for what it is, the apartments are paper thin. If you live below someone, and they have a dog. Get ready, because you will hear every woof, and footstep of that dog, you can hear people too. Hope you like the smell of weed too! Neighbors smoke up about three times a week and goes through the whole apartment. The hot water tank is tiny, you get about a 15 minute shower max, so hope you are quick.

If the apartments were cheaper it would be more understandable, but they aren’t.

Ok so I definitely wanted to be able to get pictures in here because the apartment pictures/description online do not do this place justice. We applied to live here and were only able to preview a 1br which was fine it was actually pretty large so we were pleased enough to go ahead and sign for a 2br without viewing. We came from a house we were renting so everyone thought we were crazy but we needed upgrades, more closets and amenities! (We just aren’t ready to commit to a home yet.) This place is amazing for us! 2 adults and 1 - 8year old we have plenty of space. We have total 7 closet areas. Which was top of the list for moving. Moving in the home was fresh paint new carpet everything was CLEAN as if it were new and just what we needed. A fresh new place to call home. The buildings are very private and quiet. We have a large outdoor space and plenty of community areas to hang out in. This space is very open concept it makes for a great kid friendly area they are able to eat and do homework in the common area and still be in view of everything. It allows for more a more structured environment. Overall we love this space is cozy, spacious, and just convenient all around wether it be convenient places in our neighborhood or convenient trips to the store and local places. We are excited to call this our home!
