What a find! Not only is it a great little RV park with lots of friendly campers good size sites that are level with full hookups, it's also an airport, as well as a great seafood restaurant and an entertainment venue with an amazing stage facing a grassy hill! Last night they had a free outdoor concert with seven Bridges one of the best eagles tribute bands out of Nashville. Later in the week there's going to be a bluegrass concert. Too bad we couldn't hang around for that one too. But last night was amazing! We grabbed our lawn chairs and hung out and listen to the whole concert had a great time. The restaurant was packed and they even had a warm-up band for the first couple hours before the main event. I would highly recommend anyone coming through Huntington to spend a few nights at this amazing location. Oh and if you have a mind to there's also a skydiving drop zone. Or if you like you can take a ride in a biplane.

This is an RV park that as an adjunct to the airport. It seems definitely an afterthought, and its residents are mostly full-time residents. I would imagine on the nights that the restaurant is open, it would be a lively place, much different than my experience. Essentially it is a gravel parking lot with some grass tight spots and pretty much a parking lot. The bathrooms were good, relatively clean, and relatively spacious.

When we arrived the office was "open" but locked with no one there and no one answered when we called the number on the sign next to the door (they called back 20 min later after we had left). - Strike 1

The sign also said for after hours arrivals to fill out the "registration form with payment info" which appeared to be a stack of post-it notes. - Strike 2

When deciding to pull into one of two spaces with 50-amp hookup the grass space between our lot and the neighbor (who had a sign on their RV advertising RV cleaning service) where the utility post is was COVERED with dog feces. - Strike 3

KOA 20 min away... Here we come.

This campground has excellent WIFI. Bathroomd and showers are real nice and very clean. I have stayed here on 3 diffreny occasions. All sites are grass and pull though. Owners are extremely nice and remembered me
The reason I'm giving a 4 star instead of a 6 id because no picnic tables or fire pits.

The fireworks / sky divers show was wonderful this year again. The music was great, the crowd was amazing. We love going to this every year. When near Huntington, it's the only place to be on the 4th of July. Thanks, fly in 🫶

One of Huntingtons best kept secrets. From the seafood that's just downright habit forming to constant festivals,a grill that's bigger than some apartments I've lived in ,the $100 burger or the imported scotch variety that's second to none. My recommendation would only say: if you know you know. And if ya don't well ,what are you waiting on?"

Excellent RV park, easy pull throughs, good value, great view of the grass airport, also the restaurant on site, we'll be back! Note for larger rigs going over the train tracks you could bottom out with the hill, be advised... Also the freight trains do come through a few times a day or night, but not a lot of noise... The pool at the YMCA is great just down the street, they sell easy day passes...
