We have been in the area quite frequently, but had never stopped here to eat. I wish we would have gone sooner. It was around 3:30 PM, so we didn't have to wait to be seated. Our waitress was quick to take our order and, after bringing our food, checked on us three or four times. The food itself was delicious. If you like seafood, definitely try the crab cake appetizer. Over all, our first trip to the FireSide Grille was amazing. This won't be our last visit.

First of all, we had our four year old grandchild with us and yet we were seated in the VERY LOUD bar side of the restaurant. I ordered the lasagna and declined the meat marinara for an upcharge of $1.99, assuming that the lasagna would be the typical pasta, sauce and cheese layers that one would expect when you get lasagna. It was nothing but gobs of cheese in between two layers of lasagna noodles and then covered with even more cheese. Our server was good, but not exceptional. When we told her about the lasagna situation, she abruptly asks what they can do to fix it and suggested she bring some meat sauce to which I agreed as I couldn't handle all the cheese overload by itself. The sauce was very sweet and not good tasting. I couldn't even eat it. Upon getting our receipt, we found that we were charged the $1.99 for the meat sauce, even though it was their idea of "fixing it". And our grandchild's burger was way over done, and they were not able to eat much of it. And the plate and burger were very hot to the touch as if it was microwaved. My husband's meal was way too salty.

The Atmosphere was great, I ordered the filet mignon – 6 oz. 30.99 stake , with loaded mashed potatoes, and a salad, the salad was the best part of my meal, the mashed potatoes was cold , my filet was cold, I was going to suck it up and eat it anyway’s, but I started cutting it and found some kind of gummy ,rubber substance in the center of the filet, see pics below plus my drink was god awful, I ordered a Margarita it had way to much sour mix a 10$ drink mind you , I did not like the drink at all but I sucked it up, and drank it anyway’s, I was on a date night, with my wonderful woman and did not want to be a complete jerk, so I just sent my food back , and paid the check, This was my first time going to the Fire side and probably my last I do not recommend going here, I’m new to the Hurricane area , very disappointed

Great place. Stop to enjoy a similar quick meal. Was seated quickly. Took a little longer than used to for the server to come over and get the drink order. Work out ok because we were able to put in the full order. Shared a meal and the filete mignon was wonderful. Salad was big. Over all a great place to visit.

My husband and I decided to stop by there for lunch today and we were so glad we did! Not only were our sandwiches amazing (the accompanying homemade chips with his meal and the sweet potato fries with mine were also yummy), but our server was just the sweetest. Mia greeted us with a smile when she came to our table (which was immediately) and remained just as personable and attentive throughout our lunch. We absolutely couldn't have hoped for a better and more pleasant dining experience from start to finish (including the price). We will be returning for sure! ☺️☺️

The best restaurant in all of Hurricane! I love Fireside Grille so much. The staff is so friendly, and the food is excellent and fresh. They also have a fantastic cocktail menu, which is always a plus for me. I love coming here and always leave happy. I highly suggest the Caesar salad and boneless wings. Thank you for being the best!

Great atmosphere aesthetically pleasing restaurant. Ordered pepperoni rolls as appetizer they were soggy/greasy on the bottom. A lot of bread and not a lot of meat and cheese. West Virginia is known for pepperoni rolls but these are definitely on the bottom of my list. The sauce was very sour and bland If you are into that then it's perfect. Ordered 6 ounce filet and it was cooked perfect to my specifications and I'm a little difficult when it comes to that. But it lacked flavor no wow factor at all) Ordered Beignets. Very disappointed they didn't have them. Second option was Lava cake. Taste is as expected, very rich sweet flavor. I have not eaten here in several years due to obvious reasons (lacks flavor and no wow factors on any item) and I don't feel that it's any better. It's an average restaurant considering there's not a lot of options in the area. Not a fan for the price, food quality does not match price.

First time so I'm trying to give some grace but I'd say B-. The portion was reasonable and the food was hot but that's all the nice things I can say.

Why is chain like Longhorns able to season their food but everyone else pretends that bland is fine?! My broccoli was forgotten so I ended up with steamed, unloved broccoli. The steak was fine but WHERE IS THE FLAVOR? The waffle fries might actually be the highlight of the meal...doesn't that seem sad?
