The rooms were attractive and clean with comfortable beds and pillows.| The bathroom was very small (the towels very very small too as well as thin.) Our shower experience was terrible as we never had water in our shower any warmer than cool to tepid! When we called the desk (both afternoons) we were told that the water was on a heat cycle every 30 minutes and perhaps later the third floor would have hot water, because shower usage was high. We were told to try again in 30 minutes! Again no hot water except in the sink never in the shower. Needless to say it never was barely warm all 3 nights of our stay! |Our tv received cable the first evening but the second night and third night reception/cable was down in our room so the tv was out of commission. |If we hadn’t been staying in the hotel with our granddaughter’s team we would have checked out and stayed elsewhere.|On a positive note-I can say the staff was friendly and the breakfast area was very clean, and it offered a great array of food choices. The coffee machines in the eating area and lobby made great coffee. ( there are no coffee makers in the rooms.)

There was a train nearby sounding its horn at 7am.

I stayed at Garner before a snowboarding trip to Crystal Mountain and had an excellent experience. The hotel was clean, the room was modern and comfortable, the staff went above and beyond, and the food was absolutely delicious. Honestly, this hotel deserves a much higher ranking than a 2-star hotel.

Made a last minutes reservation during a storm event and this was the closest hotel to Seattle I could find. The price was reasonable. The room was clean, but snug with all the furniture. Not a lot of room on the sink countertop for my toiletries. Staff were friendly and checked me in quickly. ||The reasons I gave it an average score were the noisy bath fan, light for the parking lot facing directly into my room, vending machine stole my money and the hotel would not refund, hotel did not provide a receipt via email until well after my stay and I had request the receipt, and the temp management of the room (would not adjust and I had to open the window to cool things down). ||This is an older hotel that looks like it got a new coat of paint recently. They were ok to use in a pinch or just for an overnight.

No hot water in the morning, crappy pillows. Also, who does double beds anymore instead of queen beds? Those are really only suitable for kids and the vertically challenged.

The hotel is in overall good shape, but the service here leaves a lot to be desired.|| My wife and I stayed here as the last leg of our Northwest Washington roadtrip for two nights. Our first night seemed to go well. The room was overall fairly clean. Checkin was easy and friendly, and the bed was comfortable especially after spending the previous two nights camping out in the rain. However, during the day after and the second night of our visit there was a number of bad experiences. ||One of the rooms just down the hall from us was apparently flooded and as I was walking past the two workers that were standing there with not even a wet floor sign, they didn’t say a word as I trod right through a soaked carpet and soaked my socks and shoes, and only said “Sorry Sir” after the fact. ||Then, the water was later shut off to our room without even a heads up. We ended up leaving the room for the day so I’m not sure how long it was turned off but it was at least 90 minutes before we left.||We also wanted to wash some clothes in the guest laundry but weren’t able to do so due one of the dryers being out of service and the other being in use.||Then, when we returned we went to use the spa, I asked for four towels. Two to replace the ones we had used previously in the day, and two to use once my wife and I were done with the spa (because there are no towels provided in the spa…) The gals at the front desk that evening argued with me over their “two-towels” policy. Seriously? Do I really need to have you turn down the entire room just to replace the towels?||Such a shame that they’re letting bad service prevent them from really turning this place around since they took it over.

This hotel has rooms with 3 beds, which was great for our group of friends traveling together. Tasty cookies at check in and good variety for breakfast. Our room was clean and we had no issues with check in. Area around the hotel seems a bit old or run down, but we had no problem finding places to eat, snack, get gas, etc.

This hotel deserves the level of a 3-star hotel as a minimum. We stayed there for 2 nights. The room was super clean with all the amenities in it. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. You have free parking, free coffee, and tea in the lobby. Breakfast included eggs, meat sausages, rice, salsa, cheese, cereals, milk, oatmeal cooked (you can add flavor to it - brown sugar, almond, cranberry), fruits (orange and apple), juices (orange&apple), coffee, pastries (muffins, toast, cinnamon roll, bagels - you can make your own sandwich as well. Breakfast hours are from 6 am up to 10 am. I definitely can recommend this hotel to everyone.
