Clean spacious room with a King bed. Very friendly and helpful staff. The front desk had tubs of chicken soup for free. What a surprise! Breakfast fare was the typical travel hotel offerings in a clean dining area. There is a Target store very nearby. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

The hotel was very clean and new feeling. The personnel were all great and very nice. I used the EV charger to charge my car and it worked great. Overall, a great stay and intend to be back in the future. We've spoke with two other couples that stayed at this hotel and they were very pleased.

This is one of the cleanest hotels I have stayed in, and I have stayed in many! The lobby, hallways, elevators and rooms included. |The staff are always friendly and helpful.|It is my place to stay when driving through West Virginia. |A room facing the granite walls provide peace and comfort.

This hotel NEVER disappoints!!||I first stayed at the Teays Valley Sleep Inn the year it opened. Of course it was new and fresh and everyone had a great attitude... I don't know what happened, because EVERY TIME I check in and stay NOTHING HAS CHANGED!!!||The place is always stunningly clean, the crew at the desk ALWAYS friendly and the the service is SUPERIOR.||When I checked in last night I was offered (and accepted) home made chicken noodle soup that was amazing. ||I will continue to stay whenever my travels take me through the Charleston area. ||Thanks for another GREAT stay!!!

We were on a trip from Michigan to North Carolina. This hotel was our halfway point. I read the reviews, and usually you take them with a grain of salt....this is a 2 star hotel that just does the simple things VERY WELL!! On a scale of 1 - 10 we give it a... 15!!!! To start, a great location, right off the freeway. We were greeted by Matthew at check in, very friendly and nice. The cookies were a nice touch 😋. The whole property is very clean. Our room (2 queen beds) was clean and spacious! Usually the "free" breakfast tastes like a free breakfast 😉. The breakfast surpassed our expectations! When we checked out, Leah could not have been nicer or friendlier! We booked a room for our return trip...can't wait!!!

Room was clean, bed was comfy. There were plenty of towels, but seemed to be mold on ceiling above the showerhead. Not a good first impression. Don't usually see this, especially when the bathroom has an exhaust fan. Also, the TP roll was nearly empty & not "folded" @ the end like usual. Gave impression that someone had "checked" the room & used the bathroom before leaving.

Service at desk was pleasant both for check-in & check-out. Didn't have time to check on the breakfast.

My room was on back side, so there was a view of the river. Nicer than looking out at traffic. Quieter, too!

This hotel is very convenient for those going to CAMC. Highly recommend for this purpose.

Stayed here after a very stressful day driving the interstate under road construction and heavy traffic through the mountains. . I had made the reservations the night before with hotel staff which went smoothly and rate was very reasonable compared to another I had called first. The staff was very welcoming, check in quick and immediately I could understand why the reviews were all so positive. It was like entering somewhere that was designed to help you calm down and relax. My favorite part was the back patio. I got some takeout food nearby and my husband and I went to the patio to eat and unwind. It was very clean, quiet and with the pine trees that surrounded it, had feeling like being in nature; again, it helped settle me down! . Everything about the room was wonderful, no complaints. The next morning, I was again surprised at the food offerings at the breakfast bar. The hostess kept everything stocked and warm and was very friendly. They even had rice in a rice cooker with a big selection of toppings. One issue I did have was the TV in the common sitting /dining area was tuned into a station that was an opinion station (and not mine). It was playing the evening I got there also. I asked an employee in the morning if it could be changed to a regular neutral news station and she said it was fixed to that station, they could not change it and suggested I look at the cooking channel that was on another tv in that room. Other than that, I was really impressed with Sleep Inn and will rave about it to others when I talk about my travels.
