Worst and most rude experience I’ve ever experienced. They called my order number so I went up and I peered over the counter to see if my order was ready. Didn’t go back there or anything just looked. A bigger woman stormed towards me screamed at me to get out. Another man grabbed a taser and was ready to tase me and my buddy. I said I’m not leaving until I get a refund or my food. They said they would give me my refund if I left so I did. It’s been 2 weeks and no refund. Genuinely don’t go here.

I have been ordering DP dough for years and I LOVE IT!!! Recently they stopped labeling the boxes so it hard to figure out what is what. But tonight the girl working was awesome and labeled the boxes and even put a heart on each box♥️♥️🫶

A kind of Calzone heaven... I thought my calzone was delicious! It was softer than it looked and nice and tender, cheesy and gooey on the inside. I wouldn’t say the service was outstanding, and it kind of took a while for our food to be ready but I do understand it takes longer to cook calzones if you actually do it right, so respect to that. To be honest, the restaurant itself seemed kind of dirty to me, even besides the whole covid thing, like the hygiene and classy-ness of the restaurant was definitely lowered, it kind of seemed like no one there cared to make the place look present and in good shape. But hey, great calzones! They are also open into the early morning hours which can definitely be clutch as a giant university is just up the road.

Visiting from L.A. and we were hungry and wanted something quick. We were so lucky to find D.P. Dough, one of the few restaurants open after 9pm! Chicken wings were great, pesto cheese sticks melt in your mouth delicious!

D. P. Dough has been THE PLACE for calzones ever since I attended WVU! Glad to be back for a visit and see they’re still doing well! Mazee the Saint Bernard recommends a calzone with every meat available!

The calzone and wings tasted good.... but, for the price I expected more. To add, I ordered well done/ crispy wings but they were still chewy and fatty.
There are better places to spend $20.

So, we ordered from here about a week ago. I have been debating on leaving a review. We didn't really have a great experience, but the food wasn't bad. So I struggled with how to leave this. The background (its a bit long), we ordered online. Estimated delivery was about an hour. We weren't thrilled, but we continued with the order, because we weren't starving and that was pretty close to the average on that day, at that time (doordash included). So the problems came when after an hour we still didn't hear anything. Around 1.15 we called the restaurant to check on the order, which is when we were informed they didn't actually have a delivery driver that night and were waiting on a third party. Long story short, we went to pick it up the food ourselves. The store said they remade the food, bc it had been sitting for so long. Which was most likely true about the calzones, probably not true about the rest of the order. It took (included drive time to and from the restaurant) closer to 2 hours to get out food. I truly am not upset about the experience, things happen. But I really struggle with why the restaurant didn't just call us as soon as they received the order, when they knew they didn't have a delivery drive that night. They should have been honest and given us an opportunity to adjust our plans. We could have came to pick it up ourselves, or just canceled the order before we (us and the restaurant) wasted so much time.
But I did like my Calzone, the dough was as good as the reviews said.
