My husband and I were one of the first couples to book a wedding at the Silo. We loved it so much from the start that we booked our date 17 months in advance! We got married the second weekend of October, and it was an absolute dream come true. The Silo had plenty of decor package offerings, but also was open to giving us the creative freedom to supply our own, which we did. We also loved the flexibility of providing our own catering, and the Silo had ample space for a food truck! The location was easy for our 70 guests to get to, even during a home WVU football game weekend. The Silo is very lucky to have Alyssa working for them, she was an amazing coordinator and was incredibly helpful. Our day would not have been the same without her. You won't regret having an event here!

We had my daughter’s bridal shower here, it was great, very cute and perfect for her. The decorative farm theme is definitely down her alley. Everything went perfectly. Thank you for letting us celebrate her at your place!

The Silo in the Square was the perfect venue for our spring baby shower! The indoor/outdoor component was a huge win, and we got so many compliments from guests on how unique and lovely the venue was! Plus, Alyssa was very easy to work with, so helpful and friendly! She even directed parking for us the day of the event. 10/10 would book again for any type of event!

I had my daughter’s first birthday here and it was absolutely perfect! After inquiring about booking the venue, a walk through tour was promptly scheduled to ensure the venue had all of the things I was looking for. We had a thorough meeting on what would be supplied and what I would be responsible for bringing. The venue is gorgeous and the coordinator, Alyssa, was so sweet, accommodating and helpful! You can manage all of your booking through their online portal and it makes it SO easy to keep track of everything and contact Alyssa, who was punctual with every single reply. I wish the weather was nicer so we could have utilized the beautiful courtyard, but nonetheless, it was more than I could have asked for.

Over the weekend, we had the joy of celebrating the HS graduation of my youngest daughter. We chose to return to The Silo in the Square for the event after holding a celebration for my older daughter for her college graduation last year. Between the ease of booking, parking, functionality, and elegant atmosphere, there was no better location.

Alyssa’s assistance was phenomenal and a pleasure to work with! Many of our guests shared how beautiful Alyssa had decorated the spaces and were quite impressed with their experience at The Silo. A fun time was had by everyone ages 6 to 76.

We were lucky enough to find The Silo for our baby shower and booked it for roughly 75 people. The price was super fair, and the booking process was painless. Alyssa was super helpful leading up to the event by answering our questions, and on the day of the event she went the extra mile to make sure our event was as stress free as possible! Thank you to Alyssa and “The Silo”’ for making it such a great experience!

Be advised this venue caters mostly if not entirely to weddings.

Communication with the venue is great, but unfortunately according to policies put in place by financial managers don't bother trying to book an event here in advance. I reached out to see about reserving the space for a grad celebration 12 months in advance as venues around Morgantown often book up fast on WVU commencement weekend, however was told I would have to wait at least 4-6 months to contract. What am I supposed to camp outside their office and hope I am the first in line to receive the contract?

Creates extreme uncertainty when trying to plan an event and coordinate with other vendors. Don't bother reaching out unless you are booking for a wedding, as it seems they prioritize the large contracts and couldn't care less about other events.
