Salads were great. Everything was fresh and the meat was super flavorful as well as being very tender. They're a bit expensive, but they're pretty damn big and the customization options are wild. They did forget my second dressing with one of my salads, though. 🙁

I came back to try some of their other items. Just as the salads were, everything was fresh, juicy, and had so much flavor. The burrito was a solid size and the quesadilla was so stuffed that it was no longer a handheld food, haha. The kiwi salsa was definitely interesting too. It was good, but I think it would be a really great salad dressing rather than as a dip for chips and such. I would have liked to increase my rating to a 5, but once again, they forgot an item with my order.

Fast Casual and Delicious!

I’ve enjoyed Black Bear for many years, but this was my first experience at the Evansdale location. This place was popping for 5pm on a rainy Friday. I love the large spacious dining room. Very clean, too.

We ordered a Irie Member burrito and a the Cannonbowl Run. Both delicious with the burrito on the spicy side. We added queso and guacamole with chips which are both great options with generous portions. You get your money’s worth. This place is a great value. I ordered a margarita but I’d opt for a beer next time. They have a great beer selection.

I would visit again and again.

Black Bear has been a staple in our Morgantown restaurant rotation for a good 20 years, from the original location on Pleasant to the new one on University. The food is just so good, you have a thousand ways to customize your meal, the options can swing from indulgent to super healthy, and the beer selection is on point. Top all that off with friendly staff who are always helpful and friendly. Make a stop here and enjoy!

I want to give Black Bear so much credit for being one of the few food service places that I've both worked in the past and still patronize to this day. They seriously care about every dish going through that window. The food is delicious and is planned carefully. Especially the burger specials each Wednesday. 10/10 love y'all.

Passing through and ended up here. Amazing spot. Wish I lived here so I could eat it all the time. Food and portions were great. Honey in a burrito Who knew!?!? Only side I didn’t care for was the slaw, otherwise perfection. Hopefully will have a chance to eat here again. Good patio for the dog.

My fiancé & I come here weekly, sometimes even twice a week. The food is always so yummy, and the atmosphere is welcoming & light. You can’t beat their quesadilla’s, much better than any other Mexican joint around! Their local beer selection is always top tier, but we keep going back for their spicy margaritas! The best around town, hands down!!
