With a stunning view of the Kachemak Bay and abundant gardens surrounding the property, we felt lucky to find this lovely home. Our room on ground floor was very comfortable and made maneuvering luggage easy. It was also very clean with a private bath. Manfred was a helpful travel advisor and an excellent cook. Breakfast was a real treat, hearty and delicious. Our stay with Manfred in Homer was too short, but now we know where we'll stay next time we are in town. We highly recommend A Room With a View.

We spent two nights here. 2 bedrooms available, sitting area, mini fridge, and a bathroom/shower. Manfred served us 2 delicious breakfasts upstairs where we had a great view of the spit! His property is gated because of moose. I would stay again!

We spent 5 wonderful nights at this B & B. There are only 2 bedrooms so the 3 of us had the common area to ourselves. The views are gorgeous. Manfred is not only a terrific host, he is also a great chef, full of suggestions of things to do in the area & maintains beautiful flower gardens. Cannot forget to mention all is spic & span!! I promise you will enjoy your stay.

This an impeccably clean, perfectly placed bed and breakfast. The grounds are beautiful...obviously tended by a host who loves to garden. The view is spectacular! The true gem is the host, Manfred. He was welcoming when we arrived and helped us prioritize what to see in charming Homer. The breakfast was delicious and the perfect send off for the day. We left wishing we had more time and hoping to return.

We spent two nights and loved the accommodations. Manfred was a wonderful host - his yard was absolutely beautiful. We loved his breakfasts and enjoyed getting to know such a very special man. The view was magnificent.

I stayed at room with a view back in 1999 ish. I remember we had to wake up early to go fishing out of anchor point. When I walked upstairs, it looked as if we were floating in the clouds. The fog was at the bottom of the grand window in the living room and stretched all the way across the bay so only the "night" sky (dawn) and the peaks of the mountains were visible. I will never forget that sight - it was truly majical. I returned this year 2017 for my honeymoon and the view had not changed! I am not a person who can sit in one spot for a long period of time quietly, but I sat upstairs in the living for a good 30 minutes staring at the mountains silently. ||The host, Manfred, was a such a pleasure! He is a very interesting man and knows a lot about the area. He recommended very good places to eat and visit while we were there. He also cooks a mean breakfast! I have told my mom and everyone I know about room with a view. Truly wonderful!

We spent 2 nights at this B&B in July, 2017. It was such a great experience. Even though we were going out early to fish each day, we were provided with a continental breakfast each morning. The host was very accommodating and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Also, the view is fantastic!!!
