This charming little cafe sits right across from the hotel, offering a homey, no-frills dining experience. The food is simple and hearty, though a bit hit or miss. The biscuits and gravy were tasty, the pancakes were just good, and my eggs, while fine, came with cold shredded cheese on top instead of being cooked in, which felt a little off. The coffee was extremely light and could definitely use more strength, which isn’t what you want usually, lol.

That said, the service was a highlight! Our waitress was incredibly friendly and personable, making the experience feel warm and welcoming. I’d eat here again, but with a little more discretion in my menu choices.

I am truly embarrassed that I have not visited this restaurant until today. It is a wonderful hidden gem in our community. The prices were very reasonable. My fiancé and I enjoyed a delicious lunch for only $20. I ordered a mushroom cheese burger with fries, and it was quite tasty. The menu had many other appealing options, and I look forward to returning for breakfast in the future.

Quaint little diner in downtown Parkersburg. Stopped in for a late breakfast and split the supreme breakfast bowl and the French toast with cream sauce topped with fruit with my girlfriend . Food was delicious and well prepared. Prices were good and staff was accommodating. I am looking forward for my next visit.

This IS that local hidden gem that we all search for. Nice local cafe that we walked to from the Blennerhasett Hotel. Nikki served us, and we both had omelets with american cheese, peppers, and oinions. Rye toast was good. Reasonably priced. This is a local favorite, as most patrons seem to know each other. This is open early and closes early, and is for breakfast or lunch only. Try it; I'm sure you'll like it! We'll be going there soon!

I ordered some BLTs on Doordash and in the special comments I put for extra bacon which I know they can adjust for like other small restaurants that I've done the same with. I received a "nice" note with my food.

Such a great little local spot. We were just passing through and I’m so glad we stumbled into this little gem. The omelet we got and eggs and hash browns were just average/decent but the homemade sourdough bread was delightful. We were lucky be there on a Saturday morning where they had huge fresh baked cinnamon rolls… oh my goodness amazing!! Good service and very friendly. Extremely reasonably priced, incredible value for what you get and the amount of food. Fun atmosphere with the books. We also grabbed some homemade cookies on the way out to take to go that were heavenly!

Great little place with excellent service, homecooked local specials and great prices. Soups are yummy and taste like grandma made them. Simple stick to your ribs meals.
