Heat in the room didn’t work. Didn’t get above 68. Other than that it was nice. Refrigerator, microwave, couch, even had 2 tvs. Had a nice complimentary breakfast. Worst part was when I came back down to check out, the whole lobby smelled like raw sewage. Went outside and it smelled fine.

We had a great experience with the staff during our stay. They were very courteous and friendly. Young lady at check in gave suggestions where we could go in town for dinner which met our needs perfectly. In the morning staff taking care of breakfast were both friendly and very conscientious of keeping a clean fresh breakfast area. No doubt we will stay at this hotel again.

This was our first time staying.

Traveling alone with kids, I’m always looking for the safest hotel. This hotel was very safe and easily accessible off the interstate.
Next, I am always looking for a clean hotel, a pool, and breakfast. This hotel was very clean, the beds were comfortable, they had a pool & hot tub, and the breakfast was great!
The front desk staff was helpful, friendly, and attentive when I needed anything.

Our first night stay (3rd floor) we had a very noisy night with many doors slamming. The second night was very quiet. The best part of our stay was the hotel being closer to my family members that we were in town visiting. Will definitely stay again!

After our son’s bday party, we opted to drive south about an hour to lessen the drive home the next day.
VERY friendly and welcoming front desk attendant who stayed busy keeping everything clean in the area. Quick easy check in and great pool and hot tub for my physical therapy needs. Clean, very spacious room and very comfortable bed and linens.

My Wife and I have been searching for a Hotel/Motel to start using regularly. We happened to be moving our Daughter to Ohio and we were tired from driving. I in the Uhaul and She driving my SUV which She doesn't enjoy lol. We hapoened upon Parkersburg's Holiday Inn Express. When we first arrived everything felt right. We loved the location, we liked the Parking, we liked the Appearance and it kept getting better. The Employee we dealt with was Nice, Helpful, Infirmative and even put us in a Room where at our age gave us a little more Quietness. This was thoughtful on his part and I apologize I can't remember Names well but I don't firget a Face. Anyway the Room was nice, we had a good nighys sleep and the next morning we went down for the Buffet. The Coffee is the FIRST TIME I've ever liked it, the Food was good, the choices were also. My Wife and I sitting there bith agreed that from now on we will be using Holiday Inn Express instead of shopping ither Establishments.

Used my free night as an IHG Rewards member and my room was very very nice. Hotel is situated for easy on and off access to Interstate 77, check in was easy, accessing internet was a little difficult but front desk clerk KC helped to make it effortless. Fairly new hotel so all in all everything was well appointed. Breakfast was typical to this type of stay,adequate. Good variety.

Staff was great, the rooms were clean and well organized. The kids had a blast in the pool. The breakfast bar had plenty of choices for good things to eat.
Took a group of high school football kids down for a playoff game, staff was great for everything they needed. Thank you

This hotel isn't new but newer than most in the Parkersburg WV/ Marietta OH area. Those older brands are cleaner and better in quality. By 4pm the trash bins in the lobby and hallways were full. The reception area was in disarray. The hotel had a look and feel of an older hotel/motel. I would not recommend staying here. There are better well-established accommodations just 4-5 miles in Parkersburg WV or north in Marietta Ohio.
