Solid choice for a pit stop stay in the area. Room was modern, spacious, and very clean. Even though it's right next to the highway (and our room was on the highway side), it's very quiet. The breakfast was fresh, well attended, and had plenty of options. Plenty of food and gas options right by the property.

Positive: Our room was a nice size with a large bathroom. The bed was comfortable and our room was very clean. The staff was so friendly. Negative: We did not have hot water, so we couldn't take showers. The manager made it right by giving us a discount on our room.

Great hotel! Don’t know why this doesn’t have better ratings. I came in with low expectations and only had one complaint - The pillows were terrible which could be subjective, but my wife had the same opinion. Otherwise… The receptionist was friendly and check in was efficient. Room looked clean and it was larger than a normal two queen room. The breakfast was well appointed and staff was there to keep it stocked and clean. Not sure if I’ll ever be in the area again but I would stay here if I was.

Also, recent reviews say the pool is broken but it was working as of March 22nd. Did not use it but looked at it.

Pool was down 😔👎 and it was so hot even after turning heat off the room never got down last 72 ! Also they need to revamp breakfast big time! But the rooms were sooo clean we always bring a black light and they did a great job on cleaning the bathroom! So that is always good.

Disappointing breakfast and pool. Seems like there is no intention to fix the broken hot tub/pool heaters (they were also down 6 months ago when I called while planning our last trip through this area). Disgraceful breakfast for a Marriott: stale hard bagels and packaged food options... Even after 7:30am there was still a sign on the hot food saying it was delayed due to weather (no weather of note for the last 2 days), once the hot food was served the oatmeal was hard and old- I will not feed this to my kids. Scant tea selection. The room and public areas were clean, well decorated and up to standard. Strangely the tv turned on by itself in the middle of the night- maybe some other rooms' remote? Quick remedy by unplugging it. Overall the stay wasn't up to my expectations.

Do not go here if it is raining. We stayed here to ski at Snowshoe Ski area. Got rained out. As a consolation back to the hotel in time to watch college basketball. Except the Tv did not work. Called maintenance, they came and rebooted a TV. Told us that they could not fix it, bad weather was the cause. So missed most of the game. Wanted to watch the Xfinity Nascar race. It came and went. Next morning, no breakfast. Breakfast person called in, they had no backup. We had nine people. When you stay at a high end place, you expect excellence, this place does not have it.

We have stayed at many Marriott hotels including the Fairfield Inns over the years. This Fairfield Inn is one of the best we have experienced! Very clean, friendly and plenty of space. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a comfortable night's sleep with no noise and a good breakfast!

This was a lovely property, tucked in beyond the main road. Quiet inside and out. Property was well-kept, staff was friendly + efficient, room was beautiful and exceptionally clean + comfortable. Breakfast room was large, food was good. Extra thanks to Danette who cleaned our room.
