My husband and I stayed here with our best friends for Valentine's weekend. Such an amazing home and time! So cozy and very accommodating. You will not be disappointed in the least bit if you stay here! The home has 5 beautiful bedrooms and plenty of cots, sofas, and futons to sleep additional people if needed. Loved the pool table, air hockey table, dart board, and hot tub. Stocked with many board games and activities for both kids and adults. There is a great sledding hill (sleds provided)...even us adults enjoyed it 😉 You don't need to even leave the cabin to have a great time. We did try to find snow mobile or ATV rentals in the area but to our sad surprise we were unsuccessful, so the only possible thing the owners could add to top this home off would be some snow mobiles hahaha (i'm sure there's too much liability involved though). Everything you need is provided in the home (except food). Due to COVID we had to bring our own linens and such but completely understandable! The owners have taken impeccable care of this home have taken the time to decorate it beautifully and truly know how to offer renters a great experience and are great to work with. We highly suggest staying at Lazy Bear and cannot wait to stay again!

Our family had a wonderful time staying at Lazy Bear Lodge! The kitchen was the most well stocked kitchen and had everything we needed to prepare and share meals together. We had a blast playing games as a family and relaxing in the hot tub. The home is an excellent location and it was quick and easy to get anywhere we needed. Alayne was a wonderful host! We would definitely stay again!

I rented the Lazy Bear Lodge for my Gospel music group. We traveled from NC to Oakland. This place was amazing. We had 9 adults in our group and we all had nice cozy beds. There are passes for the. Local state parks and we visited them all. There is a game room down stairs and we used that often. The decorations there were absolutely beautiful. A nice wrap around deck was a wonderful place to relax and view nature. There are deer that came right into the yard. The price for us was cheaper than local motels. The house was perfect for our group. We will stay there if we return in the future. Awesome place !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our 3 generation family of 13 had a wonderful relaxing time during our July 2022 stay at the lodge with plenty of room for everyone. They supplied everything we needed for family fun and food prep. It was very clean with super comfortable beds. We spent a great deal of time on the deck enjoying games, the hot tub, eating our meals, and outdoor fireplace. Plenty of room for lounging and numerous table sets where we enjoyed watching the deer in the yard.
The owner was easily accessible and available whenever there was a question. Lots to do in close proximity to the lodge. Highly recommended

Highest recommendation! My family and I have stayed at Lazy Bear Lodge on a number of occasions. Each stay was even better than the last, if that is possible! The location is perfect. So peaceful and beautiful, yet super convenient to family activities and local conveniences, such as shopping, dining, recreation, and entertainment. The lodge is stunning on the exterior and interior. The great room has the most beautiful fireplace to snuggle up next to. The kitchen is fully stocked with every gadget and tool you may need to whip up a gourmet meal, and there is plenty of room for everyone to eat together. The decks are gorgeous and the hot tub is glorious, especially on a snowy evening under a starry sky! There are tons of bedrooms and baths with cozy bedding and towels, and plenty of options for entertainment for the whole family. I highly recommend this wonderful vacation rental! One of our favorite places year-round!

LOVE the Lazy Bear Lodge! House is conveniently located to town and all Deep Creek Lake attractions. The layout of this house is fantastic! It easily accommodated our two-family vacation. The kids loved the lower level game room. For the adults, nothing is better than that huge hot tub on a clear and starry night! Loved the outdoor fireplace and wrap around deck! The Lazy Bear Lodge is furnished beautifully and stocked with everything and anything you could possibly need. The Meads were very nice to work with in renting this property. A group of my girlfriends decided to visit deep creek lake this past weekend. We were SO happy with our stay at Lazy Bear Lodge! We had a blast at this beautiful house. The kitchen is super well equipped and everything was very clean when we arrived. There are so many things to do at the cabin. We spent a lot of time on the deck in the sun and in the hot tub. The wrap around deck is also nice for eating your meals, since there is a nice table outside. There's a hike to some beautiful waterfalls nearby that we visited. The host included two parking passes, which was very helpful. In the afternoon, we went boating on the lake through Bill's Marine and that was such a fun experience recommended by the hosts. Finally, we went to firewater bar as well as honi honi bar in the evening. The hosts were very accommodating to our needs in every way possible! 10/10 recommend. I'm even thinking of bringing my family back to the airbnb 🙂
