We stayed at Nemacolin in 2022 and would give it 5 stars at that time. They have somehow improved upon 5 stars in every way possible. We stayed at The Chateau in a room that we've previously stayed in. They have updated and improved the room, the bathroom, the fixtures, the tile and even the service. It was outstanding! ||Previously, dogs were allowed only in certain rooms in the Chateau (not in the Grand Lodge). They've since opened up a few dog-friendly rooms in The Grand Lodge. We'll be sure to try those out next time. Our pup was greeted warmly and loved on by the staff throughout the resort. We couldn't have asked for a better or more dog-friendly visit. ||We had dinner at Fawn and Fable, Aqueous, and Gusto. The steaks at Fawn and Fable are excellent and Aqueous is not to be missed. The food was amazing. If you are looking for a bit more casual, Gusto is a great option, but beware the large sizes of the entrees and desserts!||The people throughout the resort are so nice and helpful and the service is stellar.||Kudos to ownership for putting bottle-filling stations throughout the resort and providing refillable bottles in every room.||If you are looking to treat yourself and be pampered, Nemacolin is your place.

Recently took a midweek girls overnight trip to Nemacolin! It was fabulous! We stayed in a chateau room and it was updated and beautiful! the marble in the bathroom was gorgeous! The food at gusto and aqueous was 5 Star! The employees were the kindest and most helpful! Especially Joshua who is a hotel butler! There are so many activities for families! I would recommend to my friends who are grandparents not to hesitate to bring their grandchildren here! The spa was wonderful. it was serene and beautiful! I had a wonderful massage by Jessica! I cannot wait to come back someday!

Let me start by saying the staff at Nemacolin Resort were absolutely wonderful—warm, helpful, and attentive. During our stay, we went bird hunting, fly fishing, and spent lots of time at The Peak enjoying the heated pool and bowling. Our youngest especially loved the Kids Club! It was truly an amazing experience overall.

The room itself was beautifully decorated and had a cozy, upscale feel. However, the beds were extremely firm—some of the firmest I’ve ever slept on—and didn’t quite match the luxurious standard you’d expect from a resort like this. I really wish they’d take a page from the Four Seasons handbook and invest in plusher beds and higher-quality bedding.

What a delightful place! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm and friendly service. The Chateau was breathtaking, and our Junior Suite was a spacious room with impeccable style. The food was consistently great, especially the complimentary room service breakfast. We had a blast snow tubing in the morning at the “Peak,” although other activities were limited. Despite this, this fantastic getaway location is a must-visit. I highly recommend it!

Embarrassed and bummed. I used to go to Nemicolan in the 90's. Been there 3 or 4 times. I always talked about how wonderful the place was so my friend said lets go for our bdays. Boy, it has changed and got so commercial! The lobby used to be exquisite but now fake plants and floral arrangements. We were there 1 night to celebrate with the spa and scheduled a dinner at Fawn and Fable. The restaurant service was OK but the food was so bad it was not even ediable. The managers came over a few times and took my friends entree off the check. $65 for a piece of fish that either was going bad or was frozen. It was so fishy tasting and not in a good way. Also the lobster bisque was horrible. Oily thin and very fishy tasting. I got the housemade daily chicken potpie that the waitress recommended. It was burnt on top and the veggies were exactly the same as a bag of frozen vegetables. Small square cubes. The chicken was hard and not ediable and really no liquid left in the potpie. Definitely not homemade. The potpie was over $50. The manager came back over and was nice and apologized and also removed it from the check. He said it was their 5th version. I told them they shouldnt serve something like this. At the end of the horrible meal, he gave us a room service credit for food. Ugh, so the 6:30 reservation was a bust now it's 10PM and we were starving. Desperately, we did order kids cheeseburgers to our room (you can't screw that up) and they were great! The next day we went to afternoon tea. OMG, it was terrible. Looked pretty but stale, dry and savory scones (cheese and garlic) with lemon curd? Or chocolate dipped cookies to put the curd on. The clotted cream had no taste and it looked like hard whipped butter. Ewww i almost spit it out. The actual hot tea was good. The spa was as I remembered. We did order lunch there and they screwed up our order.
I don't think I will ever return. It's a shame. Nemicolan used to be so special!

I sacrificed a baby in my room here. It went swimmingly and now I'm even more rich!!! The help was very kind and cleaned up all the blood. They are real pros. Such a beautiful hotel would definitely start here for all my ritual needs time and time again.

This place is out of this world! Everything is meticulously maintained, thought-out, and planned. The staff are so friendly, helpful, and kind. The views are breathtaking. The spa is beautiful, and offers the best services! The restaurants are all beautiful, and have the best food and serving staff. There is everything to do on site that you could imagine. Even a zoo! I cannot wait to return!

We had been to Nemacolin years ago, so we chose this spot as a quick anniversary overnight stay. From the champagne greeting at check in to the wonderful dinner at Gusto and all the way to check out, the staff is beyond polite and amazingly friendly. The hotel with all the renovations is immaculately beautiful as expected. We did horseback riding as an activity and Abby was our guide and very professional. She made us inexperienced riders feel comfortable for the hour on our horses. My husband visited the gym and was very impressed with equipment. We stayed in the Chateau and our room was beautiful and butler service was top notch. I am happy we chose this location to celebrate our special occasion and look forward to going back.
