Due to work I stay in a different hotel every night pretty much. This place is nice and cozy. The front desk lady was friendly and very helpful especially at 2am. The shower pressure was amazing it was like being under a warm waterfall I love it when a place has a great shower like this. When you're on the road all the time a shower will make you feel like a million bucks. The rooms are cute and cozy with the obvious remodeling that has been done. For $50/night I'd stay here any time! Enough parking for a 60ft truck this night at least. Only real complaint is the plastic mattress cover that's on the mattresses. But it's not something I'll complain much about as I'll be sound asleep shortly.

The other reviews are from years ago I guess this place use to be a dump maybe but it's nice and serves its purpose in a great manner now!

This is a very small town so not much was expected. However, the shower in the room was very dirty with lots of black stuff on the grout and tiles. I wish I had my flip flops... The toilet seat and bowl were also stained with black dots that almost looked like mold but I canโ€™t image it was. The rest of the room was clean.
This room was not worth $80/night but there was nowhere else to go.
Old lady at the front fest was polite and sweet, even insisted in walking up to our room.

Hotel was fine for 1 night, beds were comfortable, room was quaint. It is an old hotel, probably was just sleeping rooms maybe when it was built? The rooms have been adapted well. The bathroom appeared to have been a closet at one point, shower was so small my 10 year old daughter had trouble turning around in it, but water was hot and it worked fine. The biggest complaint we have is the lady at the front desk, first took a half hour to get us completely checked in, she stopped several times to tell us that the check in process for her grandkids is the same as ours: She made my 15 year old daughter (who really looks younger, as the lady kept commenting) show her ID, then she made my 10 year old sign her name to the paper that she photocopied our ID's and credit card on. We inquired why several times and were met with "if there is an emergency I need to know who is in each room" The lady commented several times on what an attractive family we were, how pretty our girls were... Also they have a hand written sign laying on the desk saying "No visitors after 10PM due to past history".. Bottom line, we have a great creepy story, but we will never go back here, not so much due to the rooms, but the people. There was a very rude lady in the morning when we dropped off the key, but that was our only interaction with her. We usually camp in this area, but due to the time of year we were traveling we elected to stay here, I would suggest camping instead.

Tiny room, 50's look & feel. Not sure what the smell is. No refrigerator, no ice machine. Noisy long term renter watched TV all night until I finally asked her at 4 am to turn it down! Awful coughing from another room. Tiny shower. Used my own pillow and towel. Try to plan not to stay here if at all possible. (I don't understand the remarks about this place being "quaint" etc.)

The best part was the friendly desk people. Super small room, too-small shower, even for a little lady like me, noisy long-termers, smoke detectors screeched at random times through the night, didnโ€™t feel like the room was clean enough. Glad I had my own pillow.

A small room, pretty clean but good for 2 people. You donโ€™t get fresh towels daily and the ones we had were stained and had holes but were seemingly clean. The bed was comfortable. Itโ€™s a good deal for the price.

This place is a dump, plain and simple. Boarding house style hotel with rooms that are vintage 1950. No TV or telephone in rooms. Plastic blinds with broken slats. Bathroom was not clean. Towels may be clean but hard to tell (they were navy and some had bleach stains). Beds uncomfortable and sag. Poor lighting. Room had tile flooring that is cracked. Paper thin doors so we could hear people come/go throughout night. Funky smell in the dim hallway. There is wifi but you have to ask for the password (they don't tell you about it at checkin). Person at front desk tells us "people steal TVs so there may not be one in the room" and they "lock the back door at 9p to keep the drug traffic down over night". Should have gone up the street to 2 other hotels that were AAA approved.

Staff is awesome, super friendly and accommodating. Not glamorous, but very clean with comfy beds and all the needed amenities. Great place for a late night check in if your traveling and need a break from the road. Prices are very reasonable, too.
