We had motorhome problems and found this motel, thank goodness. With no cell phone service we had no way of getting a tow truck. The owners let us use their phone to make arrangements. They were so nice to us. We stayed two days and the rooms were great. Great shower was great and big and they had Wi-Fi. Pizza was delicious.

If you need a place to sleep, this place is way better than I expected. I travel for a living. Most of the bigger hotel chains don't even clean or give you fresh towels every day. We'll we came back after the first night to fresh towels and trash taken out. And the room straightened up a bit. Dish network tv, fridge, microwave, and cold ac. I had turned our ac down to 60 before we left Because it was going to be 90+ outside and we were on the motorcycle. We'll it was very cold in there when we returned! Foxes pizza out front, family dollar across the street, a gas station and a general store. Plenty of hot water.
That was all of the positive things, now for the things they could improve on.

I do wish they had a chain or deadbolt on the doors. The handle lock doesn't provide much of a sense of protection. Also, during check out, several people had no idea what to do with their key. Sould make a piece of paper at minimum and leave it In the room with detailed instructions.

(This review is very delayed... I wrote my review and apparently never hit "post") I'm always nervous about staying at a place in this price range, but was very pleasantly surprised! Quiet location, very clean room, comfy beds, and good shower pressure. My only interaction with staff was on the phone (shares # with Fox's Pizza), and the gentleman was very pleasant. Check-in was easy. We arrived late at night, so they hid a room key for us.

We decided to book it late at night so we called the motel and asked them about it. The manager stayed for us to give us a room. The room was clean plus the bathroom had lots of hot water which was perfect for the cold weather. It's just a 45mins drive from Seneca Rocks. Also, we were 4 members and the room had only 2 towels, the manager specially came to drop another 2. That was very thoughtful. The good room at a low price.

This appears to be a family run Motel that is excellent. For me & my son the friendly guy only charged us $42 for the night. That equates to roughly £26. The view from the room door was amazing. It's just at the bottom of the Shenandoah National Park- just into West Virginia. The family also run the restaurant there. We ate there too. Spot on. A typical All-American diner. The room was clean & tidy. everything worked. Just great. If ever I'm fortunate enough to go to WV again - this is the place. 100%.

Well it was strange set of events that led to me to this mountain town. However if your transmission is gonna blow, Brandywine, WV is just about the best place it could happen. First off I would like to say that my impression of this town changed alot after my visit here. The whole town is just full of folks who are kind and willing to help you out. I ended getting a room here based on the recommendation from the local mechanic. My car was going to need towed and I could wait nice and warm at the Brandywine Motel. I was apprehensive as I normally do not stop at motels. More of a resort/hotel girl. However the rate was amazing. Paid $47 dollars for it all. Got my key and headed to my cute little room. It was not fancy but by far one of the cleanest places I have ever stayed in my whole life. The beds were clean and comfortable, the shower was hot and spotless and the heat worked well. Its attached to a pizza place so I was able to order dinner. Had the Taco Pizza and the garlic bread. Very tasty and cheap. There was a little fridge and a microwave. The only drawback was there was no coffee or tea in the morning, but hey if that's your only complaint I guess you doing ok. So be advised to bring your breakfast goods. You could use the micro to make coffee or tea, I just was not prepared for that. I noticed when I left Brandywine how close you are to many natural attractions and parks. This would definitely make a good launch point for a backpack trip or something of that sort. I would definitely stay again.

Great little motel in a small town. The reviews were correct. Clean rooms, clean bathrooms, good value. Brandywine Rec area is 5 mins away. Good place to stay on your way to Snowshoe, WV, Seneca Rocks, or other areas into West VA. On the other side of the mountain from Harrisonburg, Va on Rt. 33.
