This is our new favorite campground! The owners bought an abandoned fish processing plant in early 2023 and have really worked hard at making it an awesome place. Had to clear acres of old boats, old out-buildings and rotten RVs. Many sites over look the wide crescent of the Kenai with Mount Redoubt (volcano) in the background. 15 minutes to Centennial Park for fishing and 15 minutes to the mouth for dipnetting with 8 fish cleaning tables with water hoses on the old docks. Also next door to the boat launch. Many sites have electricity (30amp) and there is water access to fill your tank. No dump station, but Chevron is about a mile away and has a free dump station. Will be back next year!

After initial shock at not having my reserved space available (just as well as it was 20–30 feet too short) I was put in a site with power. Spent 10 days there. This is a very bare bones park but it really filled up with boats fishing for red salmon. Place was great for boondocking. Excavation work going on in back of property. This is a development on a shoestring budget but it fills a need and a purpose Being directly adjacent to City of Kenai boat launch is perfect for boat net fishing and the cleaning stations were well used. Still bare bones and the front row view lots ARE much shorter than advertised but it was a relaxing visit and only afew miles from Centennial Campground where I went to pole fish for reds. Nicole was very helpful.

Total misrepresentation. Water front lots are much smaller than advertised. Place isVERY rudimentary with NO amenities and the "store" is pathetic. No dump station and only one water source. This IS NOT run by the Port of Kenai. Don't even think about staying here. Crude even by Alaska standards. When we pulled in there were virtually no RVs here, woman at desk knew nothing and there was an RV in our space that had to be at least 15 feet shorter than advertised.

At the time we visited , there was no water at the campground. There was no place to dump. We were booked to stay several nights and left after the first because we needed water and to dump.
I did ask for a refund for the nights we did not stay. While it took almost 2 weeks, we did finally get the refund. I would suggest a different spot if you need anything more than a plug.

The location of this campground has a million dollar view. We have been going to this location for over 17 years. Next door is the boat launch - you can see boat dippers are on the left and you can see the shore dippers to the right. We have see Caribou on flats, sandhill cranes, eagles, to many seagulls over the summer.

The is NO RV park; it's a dirt pad: no water, no RV dumps, no electricity.

Outhouses and dirt are all you get. And VERY expensive.

If our friends hadn't booked in advance, we would have turned around and left. We left a day early as it was.
The people are friendly there, however.

They get one star for that.

If you're dip netting, you don't care if you're living with no amenities whatsoever for $75 a night sign up!
