We had a great stay. The breakfast had EGGSellent omelettes. We did get a handicapped room, and the shower flooded all over the floor. We thought this was quite the safety issue for a person with disabilities to have to clean off the floor or potentially slip due to water being all over the floor. The man at the front desk was amazing in getting us plenty of towels to clean up, and gave us excellent service, but said “oh yeah, that room is missing a lip in the shower and that happens from time to time. We’ve been meaning to replace it.” They probably shouldn’t let out that room until that problem is resolved!!

We have stayed at Hampton Inns all over the US. While they can vary a bit from location to location, this one is the worst by far. The entire hotel is badly in need of a makeover. All the room doors are scuffed or scraped, as are the walls. In the room, the furniture was chipped and the armchair was frayed. The linens were fine but not as nice as other Hampton Inns. Or they were just old. The fabric sides of the bed were either badly stained or bleached in places. The breakfast was a horror show. One side of the toaster was broken, one of the waffle makes was out of order, the tables were never cleaned between guests, We came down at 8:15 am and half the breakfast items were missing- the boiled eggs, sliced bread, muffins, and oatmeal had all run out. Only the bread was replaced. Anyone coming until breakfast finished at 10 am had very little to choose from.
The people working in the morning were not approachable at all. And spent more time smoking outside than trying to improve the guest experience. Overall, a hugely disappointing experience.no value for money here.

I stopped here with my wife and two dogs as a halfway point on our trip home. I really appreciate the hotel is dog friendly and only charges a total of $50 for the pet fee. That is very reasonable. Our room was very spacious and shiny clean. I also love that the air/heat unit was quiet (last hotel I stayed in it sounded like a jet engine). In the morning we had a decent complimentary breakfast then headed out. I recommended staying here if you go to Beckley or just needing to stop for the night. I will definitely go again.

Very clean, great breakfast and conveniently located near restaurants. Checkout at noon. Nice fitness facility and equipment as well as a pool. Great water pressure and temperature in the showers. If you need to stay in Beckley this is a great and affordable option with great amenities.

We paid the $50.00 pet fee and checked in for a one night stay. The rooms are carpeted not best for dogs. Wallpaper coming off wall in reception. Trash cans were full at entrance. Cigarette butts in parking area. One of the light polls at back entrance had fallen over.
All of the half and half creamers were curdled. The attendant said they all came out of the same box.
In the room the skirts to cover the box springs were torn and dirty. There were stains on the one fabric chair. The breakfast selection was not what I have normally had at Hampton Inn. The cost was $ 215.00 with pet fee.
I have never written a review before, but the issues at this location need to be addressed.

I always try to book here when I am in town (though it seems everyone else has the same idea, as it's always quite busy!). I travel frequently and enjoy staying at Hampton Inns because they are usually very pleasant stays. This one definitely hits the mark!

Staff upon arrival is always very friendly and provides a quick check in. The rooms are very comfortable and I rarely feel like I have to worry about the cleanliness (kudos to the housekeeping staff!). Some of the rooms have a fridge with a freezer component that doesn't always work, but that's not a major issue. Bathrooms are clean and have reliably hot water. Breakfast is delicious and there are many different options to choose from. The fitness center is very up to date and has a fair amount of equipment, especially for a hotel gym. Lots of parking available too.

Definitely a recommended choice if you're in the Beckley area!

The room was clean except for some blood on the bathroom door. The drains and toilet were very slow. Lots of nice towels and comfy bed. The entire hotel seemed shabby and worn. Needs some love. The desk staff was great. The breakfast ladies were ok but not really friendly. The breakfast was good- what was left at 9:15. Bob Evans about 50 ft across the drive and a steak house. Very handy.

Very friendy staff. Easy to access off highway (especially with pulling a 5th RV).
Our room was fairly clean. Bed was comfortable. The bathroom was “surface “ cleaned. The tub and sink may have been wiped off but definitely not cleaned. The tub drain needs to unclogged and there was long black hairs on the floor. FYI…. room 408.
