It took us three years to actually get there but it was so worth the wait. Gloria and Justin have done a great job upgrading the place. All of the staff was amazing as well as the food. The grounds are beautiful too. Each evening we were given our itinerary for the next days fishing which was such a relief. As for the fishing itself, we limited out on salmon within 2 hours each day thanks to our guide Teddy. I actually fell the day before our halibut trip and figured my catch was lost. But the staff at the lodge came through and found a stand in for me so we still brought home my limit. I cannot recommend the Salmon Catcher Lodge enough. Thanks again Gloria and Justin!

I visited Salmon Catcher Lodge 2-9 September 2024 with long-time hunting and fishing friends. The overall experience was "EPIC" to say the least and certainly exceeded all of my expectations! Gloria, Justin, and their entire family seemingly made our stay their number one priority. The lodging was absolutely perfect and fit the Alaskan log cabin experience with all of the amenties. Incredibly comfortable and welcoming, especially after a day of fishing. Retreating to the on-site health center complete with a oversized hot tub, massage chairs, and sauna was a perfect way to end a day on the water. The food, snacks, and daily meals provided by Brian and Gina were five-star quality and consistently outstanding. Their customer service was above and beyond to make us feel welcome, well fed, and treated like royalty. Justin and Gloria coordinated all of our guided fishing experiences for six days and each day we had a blast catching fish despite the timing of our trip which was referred to as the "end of season". Our trip culminated with an "Ultimate Fly Out" fishing expedition via a float plane. The scenery and remoteness alone of this trip was magnificent and beautiful to say the least. The fishing itself was truly amazing as we caught beautiful silver salmon at an extremely remote location on the Kenai Peninsula near the Gulf of Alaska only accessible by a float plane. Truly a trip of a lifetime!!

Great place to stay for any adventure. They coordinated our fishing trips and set us up to come back with enough fish for a year. We loved the staff, Gloria and Justin were great. Their chef makes some pretty amazing food as well.

A fabulous overall experience. The lodge is family owned and run, and it shows in the friendliness and attention to detail throughout. The ease of scheduling fishing and other excursions, then the daily coordination for transportation, meals to go, etc. was top notch. Cabins are extremely clean and well-equipped with kitchen and living area, and a wonderfully comfortable bed. Nightly dinners were well-planned and absolutely outstanding, from the opening custom cocktail to the chef's dedication to pleasing presentations and delivery of perfection in every bite. Overall, the thoughtfulness and friendliness of every single person on the staff makes this a truly special place.

We just had the most rewarding experience for accommodations and fishing. Our stay at SCL was a blast. The resort is modern, very well kept, extremely clean and comfortable.
The food was exceptional. All meals are prepared in full view and delicious. No cutting corners.
With out a doubt, the staff is the best ever. Everyone including the children are friendly, fun, accommodating and funny.
We will definitely be returning.

Great option for fishing in Kenai area. Good value. Staff worked hard to get us on the trips we wanted and adapted when weather did not cooperate. Food was amazing. Great balance of professionalism and down to earth relatability. Look forward to coming back again with my family.

The fishing is good everywhere you go in Alaska but if you want to go to a place that has great food and great service. This is your place. The food was amazing and the dinners at the lodge were so fun with such a great staff

Incredible abilities at this lodge! We had the King crab Leg dinner ! Outstanding! Maple Syrup old fashions ! Justin and his wife Gloria (owners) made us feel like family! We will be coming back year after year to this amazing place in the Kenai Peninsula! Thank you Justin for all the info you provided me before my trip to Kenai ! Ken and Rosa Olson
