This restaurant is one of the better places to eat on the peninsula. We have eaten there a few times now to really get a good idea of the restaurant. Love the vibe they've got going on. You even pay when you order up front, so that you aren't thinking or waiting on the check.
The food is decent, but is a hit and miss. One lunch that we are there, the quesadilla was so salty that it was deemed inedible. The portion sizes are perfect for an adult. We also like that the prices aren't Alaska jacked up to badly.

Was such a cute place. Many decor everywhere. Wanted to like it but it was not IT. Came in, server (boy) told us to choose any seat. We did.
He told us to order up front. We asked another server (American lady) “where” to order and all she said was “YES”! And that was a rude reply, She knew it was. So she apologized. Okay.
Went up to order (never told us where). We ordered at the “bar” (I made eye contact with a worker and asked if that’s where we order. He looked away.) Waited for a bit while servers and workers walk around us not saying anything when they clearly see us at the bar with our menus. Kept looking around found where we ordered. It’s a corner place by the cooks. Tell me why everyone STILL kept walking around back and forth but no one paid us any attention. Even the cook that wasn’t cooking- is just staring at us not caring. We finally ordered and came back to our table. NO ONE told us that drinks, utensils && toppings are self serve. Would’ve been nice to KNOW. Especially how the chips they provided didn’t have sauce with it and mind you - it was HARD chips.

Food was eh. I asked for THREE shrimp tacos & server instead layered my taco with three shells. The portion size was enough to fill me up though. Mind you the shrimp was not seasoned. It was just salted shrimp. Also got beef nachos - it’s just salted ground beef with shredded hard cheese on top.

When we were leaving I went to grab boxes to go & tell me why the boy server EARLIER, was grabbing utensils to another table. They were white. We’re asian. Let’s just leave it at that. I wouldn’t complain about it if everyone could just serve themselves but I watched this server SERVE this table while my husband and I just walked back and forth repeatedly.

Food needed a lot of help since they cook it plain and it’s up to you to add whatever toppings/ sauces you want on your food. Overall, it’s overpriced and needs to work on customer service. Honestly we just ate quick and wanted to leave asap.

A solid 4. A bit pricey lunch for 2 with 2 sodas $44.00 without tip. Good vegetarian choices.

I’ve never gone to a restaurant where literally everything was a problem, to start off they had me pay and tip before getting or trying the food. $60 and the chips were stale my wife ordered the seafood enchiladas and started gagging on the first bite, in addition her horchata was very watered down. My son had the chicken strips and fries and he barely even touched them, they were like cardboard sitting in the bottom of a freezer for years. Also my son’s water came out yellow. I was trying to eat the carne asada burrito that had over cooked and over seasoned meat and half way through I find a long brown hair inside (my wife has blonde hair). Do not recommend… not impressed at all.

Something tasted wrong with the fajitas! Waitress said we could order somthing else then charged us again! Needless to say we ended up leaving without eating after getting refunded for second dinner.
Bummer because I've eaten there before but will not be going back after this

"Good enough for white people." Looked like a great, authentic place to grab some tacos. I was actually excited to eat there... arrived 20 minutes early and waited for them to open. The Jamaica tasted like sweet pink water. The horchata was watered down. The chips were good, the salsa bar too but they offered lemons, not limes. Ordered tacos de cabeza and the head meat was friggin' huge, unseasoned and packed chunkily into huge tortillas. Usually I wouldn't complain about large portions but it felt very gringo--the authenticity of the food didn't match the authentic ambiance. Thankfully, they offer Negra Modelo. So I may revisit in the future and try a different meal to accompany my beer.

Never going back, servers are literally only there to point to a seat for you, they don’t bring your drinks or take your order, you have to go up to the counter to order, and when you do your stared at by the chefs and every staff member besides the 1 person who will take your order, however they take a good 10-15 minutes before they take the time to take your order. Then you must pay, before you get your food. Once you sit down it takes a good 30-40 minutes to receive your main dish, and an additional 5 to get your appetizer, yes the appetizer comes out after the main dish, and in our case was soggy and cold. Do not come here, it’s a waste of your money and time.
