Four of us went August 12 - 21. It was our first trip to TRL for my wife and I and the fourth for my brother-in-law and second for his wife. We wanted to fish the Kenai predominantly for Coho and Pinks. We also took a day for a fly out via float plane to another lake as well as a day trip fishing for halibut and Rock Fish. Briefly, we had a great time. The guides were amazing in their knowledge and patience in putting us on fish. Both the fly-out and deep sea were excellent experiences, returning with loads of fish. |The lodge was clean, neat and well maintained. We stayed in a comfortable four bed/one bath cabin. The resident Chef, Nick, prepared amazingly succulent dinners and lunches when we were close enough to return for lunch. When we couldn't return for lunch, a well stocked picnic hamper was provided. In the evenings it was very relaxing to sit by the fire and enjoy a drink and the excellent hors d'oeuvres. The staff (especially Maude) was very friendly, attentive and accommodating. The other guests were engaging and interesting.||Summary ... Tower Rock Lodge is a wonderful experience to be savored.

Amazing Alaska fishing on the Kenai Peninsula. I cannot thank Tower Rock Lodge and its Amazing staff enough for memories of a lifetime! Joe, Maude, Brant, Cameron and the entire staff made our Alaskan trip incredible. The people, lodging, and experience at Tower Rock were absolutely top notch in every capacity and made our three-generation family trip one we're eager to repeat. Cameron and Brant were very patient with my 10 year old (and our whole party) who had an amazing week that Joe capped off with an award for fish of the week! The food/atmosphere was great and Maude deftly navigated and anticipated our youngest's food preferences so that we all looked forward to and enjoyed meals. The camaraderie Tower Rock builds around the lodge and staff was very easy-going - making it very easy to talk with everybody and enjoy company. We are still buzzing about what a great trip it was and highly recommend Tower Rock!!

The Tower Rock Lodge building is even more awesome in person than it is in the pictures. The entire grounds are beautiful, with the lodge building, several very well maintained log cabins (with bathrooms), there’s even a larger bunkhouse type building. The grounds include a fire pit where we all gathered to talk about fishing and have an enjoyable chat before dinner. And dinner, Chef Nick prepares fresh, delicious cuisine, including some dishes with his touches on family recipes. ||Willie and Cam put us on the fish. We really enjoyed talking with them, and enjoying our time with them while we caught our limit every day. We fished sockeye salmon, king salmon, and halibut. Also caught an ocean chum salmon and Pacific cod. ||Krile and Jack do tons of stuff and good to hang with. ||Joe leads by example to create an amazing environment that makes Tower Rock Lodge such a wonderful experience and adventure. ||No specific dates for our return. Probably when the currently full freezer starts to get low.

Super experience overall. Great accommodations and food, outstanding fishing, and excellent guides and personnel. ||We've been there 4 times. It gets better each time. Joe and Maude are wonderful charming hosts. ||If Alaska fishing isn't on your bucket list, it should be. Nobody fills your bucket better than Tower Rock Lodge.

My third vacation to Tower Rock Lodge did not disappoint! Thank you Griff and staff for another incredible adventure! I LOVE being a "repeat offender in no-where" and look forward to next time!||Jefferson House was perfect for four friends. Chef Nick and Maude prepared and served the unbelievable gourmet appetizers and meals! ||Our guides, Brent, Cameron, Ollie and Joe, were professional, most accommodating and so helpful. Jack, Crile and Bubba made sure we enjoyed. Thanks to them we brought home what we came for! FISH! ||The fly-out over the mountains to Big River Lake provided our once-in-a-lifetime view of the volcano and glaciers! Fishing with the bears was an amazing experience. This was our 14th season at the lodge. Every year it gets better and better.|Joe, and the rest of the guides were excellent in their ability to help you catch the fish they were targeting. We caught our limit of sockeye, Silvers , halibut. Nick is the chef, and his meals were indescribable. Maude was an excellent hostess as usual. Our fly out trip to Big river for the silvers and bear witching bear watching was beyond belief.
