Positive: The bed was comfortable. The guy at check in was very friendly and accommodating. Negative: The room was heavily scented when I arrived. It took two days of leaving the door open to air it out. The hotel is run down and in need of repairs. The fact that they charge 16.50 a night for parking when their huge lot is empty.

Location is right at the highway. Lots of noise if you’re on that side. My room was away from the highway and did not suffer from that noise. However, I was right next to the coke and ice vending machine, which made noise all night long. Furthermore, the A/C was extremely noise.
Room was very big and had a comfy, big bed. Bathroom was okay, I enjoyed the anti slide mats in the shower. The toilet is super small, so when an adult sits there, the knees are very high.
The carpet floor in the room, seems to have never been washed or cleaned. So I walked around with slippers on. I did NOT experience any bugs or bed bugs.
Breakfast is very simple, yet it is actually okay. A couple of different lactose free yoghurt, some milk, chocolate milk, water, and juices. Some prepacked pastries and bagels. And some fruits.
1 km from the downtown of Bellevue, which you can walk, but it’s hilly.
An OK stay for just sleeping and being out all day, but would not recommend if you are there many hours during the day.
Felt more like a motel than a hotel.

Positive: Parking seemed non-issue at first... Now I know why.... The hotel is a dump on the inside Negative: First off. The toilet didn't flush, there was clear water damage from improper caulking two different colors and thickness The bathroom door almost hits it. Flooring was 80' carpet and stained. Walls had stains. 3/10 hotel for 6/10 prices.

The red Lion is a really nice hotel especially if you have to stay there for 4 days if your traveling 🧳or if you are just a family that lost power the place makes for a good short stay. The staff was amazing that checked people in and out and if your ever downstairs they can make for amazing conversations if you just want to talk to someone while being in their lobby. The place was really nice amazing big rooms great bathroom in rooms especially if your a bath person 🛁. They have breakfast in their lobby at 10am they definitely have some good selections for breakfast and they also have a really nice gym for anyone that wants to work out.

Our Thanksgiving holiday turned sour by the flu, so we needed a one night stay before our flight to quarantine away from the sickness. ||We used to live nearby before we moved out of state, so I’ve known the Red Lion to be here, but I definitely didn’t think it’d be this gross. ||As far as past reviews go, although we’ve only had two interactions with the front desk, both times they were nice enough and they even called over to the Hilton for me to see if I could use their laundry facilities (upon which they accepted, woo hoo)! We also got our parking fee wavered? Which confused me knowing that most guests were given no option to pay somewhere between $10-$25 for overnight parking. ||I’m giving two stars cos the room is filthy. The bed is missing the quilt that’s meant to be draped over the foot of the bed which is presented in all photos online, the wall paper is dirty and torn / puffy, stains all over the carpet, nothing was dusted before our entering, and the toilet and shower have draining issues. ||I also found trash under our bed left there by a guest prior. ||I’ve honestly avoided looking at the curtains, the heater / AC, inside the closet and dresser drawers cos I just don’t want to know. We are only here for one night and will probably check out asap. ||We will be skipping the “continental breakfast”. ||The hallways are also very outdated and filthy. And yes, the outside doors don’t feel safe at all. It wouldn’t be hard to credit card them open. ||It’s a shame because the beds were comfortable and clean enough, the tv, microwave and fridge all worked (very nice to have). But the dirtiness of the hotel overshadows everything. Bummer.

My adult daughter and I spent several nights at this hotel: our adjoining rooms were clean and the staff members were friendly and helpful. However, there was a major problem: no ventilation in the bathrooms which caused a serious moisture issue in the rooms, This had a major effect on a recent, poorly applied application of paint--for which we were blamed and charged over $1000.00. ||||The untextured walls were painted with matte-finish paint without primer--a perfect recipe for major paint adhesion problems. Not surprisingly, we began to notice blistered paint in the bathrooms after our very first warm showers. Within two days, paint was blistering and peeling in the main room as well. I promptly informed the front desk that the paint was peeling in our rooms due to moisture. The person at the front desk made note of this but didn't have much of a reaction.||||As the days passed, the paint continued to come off in sheets. My daughter and I should not be blamed, and we absolutely should not be charged for the hotel's faulty handiwork.

Positive: The night staff was courteous. Negative: Breakfast choices were limited. Food ran out 30 mins before said end time, and the staff refused to bring out more food. Ridiculous charges for parking, $14/night. They also charge $25/night for rollaway. It's normally $10 for most hotels. Dirty hallways.

I was in my room changing when someone tried to come in without a knock. I looked through my peep hole and saw that it was a bald white man.

After I got ready and I called the front desk to inform them on what happened. When I told her that a man tried to come into my room and I did not feel safe. Without any apology, she just said it was the maintenance man.

After a moment of silence, I just hung up and left.

This is unacceptable. As a petite woman, my safety is my number one priority and the Red Lion did not make me fee secure to stay. I left and went to another hotel.
