Hotel is way overpriced and the condition of the building is not what I from expected a Country Inn & Suites. I honestly thought we were at the incorrect Hotel. No canopy to drive under to drop off luggage and when we left it was raining. No cart to take our luggage to our room. Hotel did not seem to have the A/C on and it was very stuffy. We turned on the A/C in our room, it was so loud so we opened the window instead. Very noisy area located by an intersection so all we heard was traffic. Rooms are not sound proof, we could hear the tv from the next room through our door. I finally called the front desk at 10:30 and she said she would knock on their door and take care of it. It was still on at 11:00 so thankfully I had earplugs. The floor and very dirty and I could see shoes/foot prints and they were not ours. The breakfast didn't have many options, again I expected more from a County Inn and I paid $144.00. The people at the front desk were very nice and apologized. I would suggest keep driving and find another hotel.

Was frustrating because they didn’t understand how to use the terminal I guess? I paid the room cost and two ($100) deposits. Super annoying. Took 5 days to be fixed. The room was fine I guess, stained sheets and rusty bathroom. I feel like this place could use some updating. And how many places even charge a deposit anymore…? Even more frustrating to have been told “it didn’t work, I’m going to charge it again” then being charged twice for a deposit. Whatever. We were just driving through anyways and got the sleep we needed. In the end they did sort everything out but come on. Won’t ever stay in another place that requires a deposit, especially if they can’t understand how to use the terminal…

Horrible experience. Price gouging at its finest. Normally, it was an $80-100 a night room, and we were charged almost $300 due to spring break, also put a additional $100 hold on our card. We were tired and desperate, so we stayed.
The gentleman who checked us in was wonderful. That's the only positive from this experience. The walls were paper thin, and the room was not clean or well taken care of, hotel guest were loud in all directions until after midnight. Got up early to leave and got to breakfast, and it was gone. No coffee or cream. There was a gentleman rolling a blunt in the breakfast area, and the whole hotel reeked of Marijuana. The woman who was at check out couldn't put her phone down long enough to acknowledge us. We just loaded our stuff and left. By far, it was the worst experience in a hotel.

I absolutely love staying here once again. Staff was amazing. Breakfast was great eggs bacon potatoes, waffles it was great for a breakfast on the go. I choose this hotel often and will continue too.

The room smelled funky, like stale, there was trash, crumbs and used sauce packets under the pullout bed. There were no sheets, blankets or pillows for the pullout bed. When we asked for those items we were given a single pillow and a top sheet, which took the lady forever to find.

Only one AC worked in our double bed suite so the front room where the bathroom and pullout bed were stayed hot even with the ac blasting on 65. Our kids ended up staying in the room with us because it was too warm.

The TV had maybe 5 channels, no accessibility to Netflix which was on the remote. The few channels that did come in were very pixelated.

There was hair in the bathtub and NO SHOWER CURTAIN!

When we were finishing up getting ready and taking our things out to our truck at 9:24am, there was room service standing at our door waiting on us.

I would never recommend staying here and thankfully we only had to stay one night as we were passing through.

Horrible. We had a room reservation at the South Charleston location and when we got in late at night we were told that the room we reserved was unavailable because it had not been cleaned. So with no other available rooms at that location we had to cancel and travel 20 miles further to the Dunbar Country Inn & Suites. Upon arrival after midnight I booked a room. The desk clerk told me that my credit card did not take and she had to run it a second time....I wake up the next morning to find that they charged me twice for my room..so the new on-site manager(?) tells me that their policy is that the hotel manager is the only person that can refund my money and that it will be at least until Monday when this might happen (it is Saturday). They also told me that the $100×2=$200 incidental charge would immediately go back into my account as we checked out. That has not been refunded yet either! So as I am overdrawn because the double charge in excess of $500 I have received no help or recourse from this location or their awful "customer service" line. Absolutely disappointed from this entire experience!!!

Breakfast sucks, they said they won’t fix eggs because of the price. If my company pays good money for us to stay there we expect a good breakfast before we get the day started. We will definitely pick another hotel.

Had the best stay ever. Staff was amazing as always. They go out of their way to make sure everyone has a pleasant stay. General manager was amazing he was working the front desk himself. Breakfast was great . Definitely will keep choosing this hotel
