Don't join. You will get nothing out of it in roadside assistance in the Charleston, WV area. Nothing but a towing service now. They "dropped" battery service. Even that is too involved for them now. Here's a long time member who will never renew.

Back in April 2024, my sister and I met with a Travel Agent at AAA Charleston WV in regard to an all inclusive resort in Riveria Maya, Mexico. She prepared a quote which was twice the amount of the direct reservation at the Barcelo resort for 7 days for 2 people. She insisted that the rate was per person when fact it was per night as it stated on their website. She argued with me and I called the resort directly after we left the office and in fact it was confirmed it was per night, not per person. She had quoted over $4,000 too much for the week. Needless to say, we directly booked with the resort. We booked at the price of $4200 for 7 nights for 2 people where she quoted over $4,000 per person for direct flight and resort costs. Lesson learned. Do your research first.

Staff were very friendly and helpful during my visit to AAA Charleston WV. Many items for travel in the store suitcases, travel pillow’s ….etc, currency exchange is also available. Plenty of parking and easy to find.

It's too early after the work was performed to assess the quality. I did especially like two things. The professionalism of the gentleman I dealt with and the way the work that was needed and was suggested was presented. ( It's now been a month since the work was performed and I couldn't be happier. My car has been performing without a hitch. I'm especially pleased that the transmission is performing much better than before. Excellent job guys! ) (photos and and explanation )
