This is our favorite date night spot. My fella and I get a cone or a shake and watch the sun set from the pleasant outdoor seating area. They use Velvet ice cream, out of Ohio, and it is wonderful! Lovely place, lovely people, and lovely scenery. I absolutely recommend this as a must-stop if you're going g through Marlinton!

A charming little walk-up shop with great ice cream, hot dogs, pizza and bbq. Nice covered seating on a gravel patio next door and right next to the Greenbrier Rail Trail. Just one thing to look out for - the "small" ice cream is enormous, it was almost more than I could eat. But I managed...

We were very grateful for the nice lady who open her shop to make us an ice cream on this beautiful 1st day of summer day. We thank you and enjoyed the ice cream and the outdoor eating area. We are out of Towner's and love the WV hospitality.

This place is WONDERFUL!
Fantastic ice cream, other snacks (hot dogs, nachos, bbq sammiches, pretzels, etc).

I had to tap on the glass of the front window to wave off the incredibly generous staff about to give my 5-year-old an ice-cream cone as large as his head. I order a “Single Scoop.” A FANTASTIC spot just off the Greenbrier River Trail in downtown Marlinton. My local mom also attests to the excellence of the bbq sandwich and noted the equally important slaw on the sammich. If you’re in Marlinton or heading through on the trail, save room for a snack stop here.
