UN-REAL. Todd and his team made our heli-elopement day SO special. Not only did he travel by helicopter to our glacier for the wedding to prepare gourmet tacos on site, in the rain...he brought an assortment of top-shelf tequilas, chocolate truffles, guac and homemade chips. He honestly made the ordeal so enjoyable, and everyone loved him.

He then packed everything up in the helicopter and met us back at our beachfront dinner site to prepare an exquisite four-course plated meal. It didn't matter that Seward lost electricity...he found a way. By grill, he prepared the appetizers that weather wouldn't allow for back at the glacier. Our guests (ourselves included), are well-traveled foodies. His cuisine was just unreal. Every single dish was intentional, flavorful, and savory. We cannot recommend Alaskan Roots Catering enough. You must hire Alaskan Roots Catering for your next event! Todd and his team made our wedding day (50 people) incredibly special, and we got so many compliments on the food! By far the best catered meal I've ever had. Todd built an amazing menu with us, and was incredibly responsive all year leading up to the event. He and his team went above and beyond in professionalism, attention to detail, and taste! They even arranged for food to be sent to our room because we were too busy to eat our appetizers! And they brought out seconds for us when they noticed we were too busy to run back to the buffet table ourselves. Truly made for an amazing experience and delicious food, you will be so happy you hired him and his crew!

We hired Todd for our August 2024 wedding, and I have nothing but GREAT reviews! We wanted Haitian & Alaskan foods to reflect our cultures. Todd clearly knew what he was doing with the Alaskan foods (salmon) that was cooked to perfection.

As for the Haitian foods, Todd not only included the items we wanted, he crafted a menu that truly was me & my husband, by adding other Haitian foods and doing his research!

My Haitian mother was very impressed and loved the food so much that she (and many of our guests) went back for seconds.

The guests were happy & full belly, meaning the Bride & Groom were very happy - it's easy math!

We hired Chef Todd to cater our wedding and are so glad we did. We were so excited when we first saw the menu he crafted for us and looked forward to it for nearly a year. Chef Todd did not disappoint. He and his team brought our vision to life with amazing and customized appetizers, salads, entrees, and desserts. In addition to mouthwatering food, he and his staff were personable and friendly on our wedding day, which we greatly appreciated. There’s no one else we would have rather catered our wedding.

Todd Ritter and his team was one of the key vendors that made our wedding such a special day. As an out-of-state couple we were unable to taste any of the wedding food until the day of our wedding - Todd provided us with clear communication about what to expect from the food on his team - giving us all the confidence we needed to know he was the perfect fit for us. He provided an elevated menu that showcased Alaska and became the highlight for our guest's experience during our wedding - some saying it was the best food they had every had at a wedding. We chose Alaskan Roots Catering to cater our company Christmas party for the second time in December 2023, and they did not disappoint! We went for something less formal this year, and Chef Todd and his assistant brought the most delicious food for us to share.

Definitely the BEST catering on the Kenai Peninsula! They are friendly and polite, and go out of their way to make sure customers are happy with the service and food. Presentation is always amazing, and the food is wonderful.

I highly recommend this wonderful business for all Catering needs. We look forward to working with them again!
