If you have never been to this area this is the place to stop. Full of lots of information and brochures. Very nice lady that explained where everything is and how to get to the places we'd like to see. Plus you get a free ice cream and water.

We are way to familiar with the garage but we wanted to stop and get info so we can expand our adventures. And the gentleman that was in there was awesome and super friendly. We had a good conversation with him about the area.

The gentleman working was very friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about the local area.

He gave some excellent ideas on restaurants and activities in the area.

As a side note, there used to be a nice guy who sold honey from a truck on the side of the road in nearby. The honey guy was a local fixture and I would buy all my honey from him every year as I drove up to the scout camp nearby. Unfortunately he has passed away, and it is heartbreaking to think there will be no more chatting with the honey guy on the way to camp.

We stumbled upon this place during a road tip and I’m so glad we did. It was the opening week. The building was so nice and clean. The man working inside was friendly and knowledgeable. They had lots of brochures and maps. They even gave us ice cream and water.

Suzie was super helpful and gave us really good recommendations on where to hike in Ohiopyle. They also give away very high quality maps and bottled water free of charge. Definitely worth a stop if you're trying to maximize your visit to Ohiopyle.
