We felt completely blessed to enjoy the peace and rest found at the top of the mountain and the drive along the winding roads was well worth it! Linda and Jeff welcomed us so warmly. Our cottage, as well as every room we entered, radiated with personal touches. Every detail was perfect and it was obvious how much our hosts cared about making their retreat a special place for their guests—it is definitely personal for them, and not just a business! The food was delicious and fresh, and the homemade cookies were awesome. From books, to music, to wall hangings, to conversation with Linda and Jeff, we were reminded of God’s hand in the peace and beauty that surrounded us. A detailed map showed us around the property and we enjoyed hiking and resting at many of the little spots throughout. We enjoyed watching the deer and hummingbirds in the garden. Kayaking on the river and seeing eagle and ospreys in flight were a fun first for us! We give an A++ and recommend the retreat for anyone desiring to get away and enjoy peace on the mountaintop!

An incredible place to enjoy God’s delights. This BnB Retreat took us through an experience we will not forget. It was such a blessing to be greeted by sweet Linda who cannot do enough to make your stay incredible!! From the moment we entered The Cottage with its amazing aromas to everywhere you look there are well thought out soulful notes, flowers, photos, foods, blankets, books, music, teddy bears, pillows and everything you need for an incredible stay. You don’t have to leave the room. However, if you do you’ll find well manicured trails, chairs, swings, birds, fire pits to an adorable bee house for your private refuge. The breakfasts are worth the tantalizing tastes that Jenn creates. Jenn is excellent with communications and time management. The tips and advice they give are worth following. They know the area well. We are already discussing our return trip. We can’t thank you enough! Our souls thank you and The Holy Spirit 🫶🏼

Beautiful location to reset and relax! We’ve had a few wonderful stays at New Every Morning. Each time the accommodations at the red cabin were everything we needed and more. The side porch was the perfect place to practice daily outdoor yoga sessions. If you’re looking for a connection to nature while being able to really disconnect from the hustle and bustle of daily life, this is the place to go. We loved seeing and hearing all the wildlife and really being able to explore the forest! We highly recommend it!

This raises the bar and sets the new standard to which all others will be rated.
It's a B & B, but better because the rooms are cottages and cabins with your own private bathroom and complete privacy that's more like a suite or a house.
First of all, opt in for the homemade breakfast delivered to your doorstep.
This place alone should be on DDD just for the food itself.
You have 10 choices of a main breakfast that are all made in their kitchen, then you have many choices of sides, then you have the fresh baked bread, and fresh made cinnamon rolls, then the fresh fruit, along with hand picked strawberries ( in season) from their own garden. The food is incredible!
The cottages and cabins have everything you need, pack lite or arrive on your motorcycle.
The hand written notes everywhere show how much love goes into their prepertion for you and your family. The plate of homemade chocolate chip cookies to the bear's in your room ( not real bear's 🐻) of course. The entire buildings are hand crafted by Jeff and his best friend, the attention to detail are second to none. They are well though out, serve a purpose, and architecturally a pleasure to the eye. They are the cleanest and best built place you will find. Linda and Jenn have decorated the entire place to magazine standard's of modern, period, and a step back in time all at the same time.
The signage on the property helps you easily navigate the different buildings, trails, activities and river access points. They have for your convenience, canoe's, and kayaks along with everything you need to enjoy the Potomac River with confidence and safety. They also drop the vessels off at the river for you. There are numerous hiking trails on their 200 acres, all marked, with seating along the way for a rest or just to sit and enjoy nature. There are fire pits all over the property including at the river access. There are gardens to walk through, decks to sit on, porches with rocking chairs, outdoor games, hammock swings etc. There is an indoor game center with ping pong and countless board games with tables and chairs to relax as well. There are outdoor charcoal grills, charcoal, lighter fluid, and all the grilling utensils that you need. There is also an ice machine on the property. Your kitchens have everything you need, all plates, silverware, cups, mugs, coffee maker, toaster oven,
George Foreman's grill, spices, creamer, sugar, sugar substitutes, refrigerator, ..... you need nothing! You also have decks of cards, games, and puzzles in your room as well. You also have snacks and mints in your room and in the office.
All of the water on the property is treated via reverse osmosis and has a several thousand gallon of this treated water supply. This place is perfect for a getaway, or a full retreat. There is also a brand new dining room and Great Room with a fireplace to enjoy the views and nature.
Then to top it all off, you meet the family that owns and manages this beautiful place. They are the nicest, genuine, loving, family that you would ever want to meet. All of this set in a Christian background.

New Every Morning is the perfect B & B to unplug and rebalance a life lived in the fast lane. The property is beautiful with mountain views, walking trails, a river to sit by and benches and chairs along the way to stop and reflect. The accommodations are pristine including comfortable beds, encouraging and inspiring decor and privacy. The food is amazing and plentiful. This has become my "go to" spot when life gets hectic and chaotic. I always return refreshed, rejuvenated in spirit and ready to face the world again!

What a really nice place to unplug and relax. We stayed in one of the bigger cabins, which would be great to take your family. Do some hiking during the day and at night sit around the fire pit.
