After years of being a customer at Tiptop in Thomas I thought it’s time to write about these amazing folks and the true gem of a place tiptop is.

First the space is amazing and so well thought of and designed. The coffee menu has everything that you could want- and the food 10/10.

Also they have wine, beer, lots of goodies to shop while you are there.

This is easily one of my fav spots in Thomas/Davis area. I got a cappuccino and some pastries. Nothing here is ever a disappointment. The seating is comfortable and inviting. Nellie’s art in the secondary room is beautiful and fun. They always have cool merch here (very fun hats and snacks too!) everyone who works here is always friendly and helpful. They also have really good cold brew! No complaints

It's an adorable hipster coffee shop! All the traditional stereotypes of what a nonchain coffee shop should be - this one checks all the boxes.
-Quirky house cups
-Amazing pastries(GF & Vegetarian options)
-Fair trade merch
-Inviting, inclusive space

-Most importantly - incredible coffee!

Loved this place! We were in the middle of 2 wk bikepacking trip and stayed the night in Davis, which it turns out doesn’t have a breakfast offering on weekdays, so we rode the 3 miles to Thomas thinking we would go to another place there, but it was closed! Fortunately, just down the street was the Tip Top. We filled up on an excellent sausage and egg sandwich and then did a little food shopping to take with us. Everything we got was amazing and we appreciated it as we rode on that day. Super cute shop and storefront.

In West Virginia, TipTop won’t stop at just one location. Based in Thomas, TipTop Coffee has brought its multiroaster cafe approach to the larger nearby town of Elkins, spreading the appreciation for various specialty coffees to another challenging but rewarding and equally outdoorsy market.

“There have definitely been some challenges introducing specialty coffee in such a rural area,” TipTop Co-Owner Cade Archuleta told Daily Coffee News of running the business in Thomas, a town of less than 600 people.

Fantastic place to chill out! Loved the coffee and spinach & feta pastry. Sweet folks working the counter. I loved the relaxing hip music. Nice items for sale. Clean restrooms. Two steps into the building. Street parking and nearby lots.

Just an incredible coffee spot, we had to visit every day during our stay in Davis. Not only some of the best coffee drinks I've had anywhere, but also amazing baked goods (spinach feta was my favorite) that rival the best bakeries in big cities. Then, you get to the selection of foods they carry...you can tell how thoughtful the owners are, from the craft beer selection to the dried and canned goods. Super lucky to have TipTop part of the community in Thomas.

Gushing about how beautiful, meticulously detailed, and thoughtfully curated this place is.

The baked good were exceptional. The best pepperoni roll I ever had. Not greasy. Light airy yet flavorful and filling.

Endless variety of super hipster brands and products.

Service was excellent and welcoming.

Highly recommend grabbing all the baked good you can because they sell out for good reason.
