Beautiful campground! Maintained very well! We visited during cooler months, but there appears to be lots of activities for warmer months. We still enjoyed the beautiful location and exploring all the well kept grounds.

UPDATE: Staff were as gracious and kind in person as they were on the phone. The campsite was great. Very affordable and the grounds were nice. Everything was great, but the noise. It is beside an interstate. The truck noise was tough to ignore and definitely affected our stay. Otherwise there isn’t a thing I’d change about the site.

I haven't even stayed yet and I am already so impressed! The individuals I have spoken with to get my reservation have been the nicest of any I have dealt with for a booking. Super friendly, happily answer any questions and so accommodating. Truly the nicest people I’ve dealt with at a business. Cannot wait to get to the campground.

Stayed 2 nights. Friendly staff, premium sites are nice and a little farther away from the highway. Very peaceful with pretty ponds. Morning of departure had an extreme sewer smell that could have been something temporary so overall, a nice campground to stay.

Friendly staff and gorgeous fall scenery.. Perfectly evel campsites and space between your fellow camper. Dog friendly with a dog park. There's also a large open dog walking area as well.

Catch and release fishing, cabins, a beach and swings to relax in water side.

The only negative for me personally, was the amount of road noise. It did quiet down some after midnight but I did wake up several times.

Unfortunately, the previous camper left me a mess of used marshmallow roasting sticks, half eaten suckers and trash throughout the campsite, which should have been cleaned up before the next camper came in.

If you're looking for an overnight spot this is fine.

We are locals and enjoy the annual holiday camping trips to this campground. The past 2 years we have had difficulty keeping our reservations that were made a year in advance.
2 years ago, we were called and harassed to move our spots that we reserved in advance because someone else wanted them. When we refused, we were told we couldn't reserve the same spots that we wanted for this year, we reserved different spots anyway because thats understandable.... we didnt book early enough. But realizing the other people were probably coached to take them for the following year, it was disheartening. It's a family outing we look forward to and enjoy so we made other accomadations. Couple weeks out from our trip this year, once again we were called and said they'd be moving our spots around separating our group. We just made other plans... made new traditions this year that we didn't regret. But felt necessary to let people know the treatment, and to advise that your reserved spots are meaningless if they want to move them, they also claimed yearly spots took precedence over weekends so they also double book your spot. To add insult , they force the move, or cancel, and will not refund deposits. They can enjoy catering to thier friends from here on out. Was fun while it lasted.

Very hard turn to get into but we did it. The drive on the way in was strange but once in. |Nice quiet park, people were kind and friendly. Sites were not any thing fancy but we felt very comfortable here. The day we were leaving we asked if we could check out a bit late and they were so nice about it.

We stayed in Cabin 2 it was a nice cabin for 4 only 2 of us. We have stayed before. Clean and nice 2 tvs. Burner to cook on no stove only in lodge. Big fridge. Resteraunts and shopping close by. Nice staff had to call to figure out how to turn the heat on, the first night. A guy came right over and explained it to us. Nice quiet campground. Some campers was here one right beside us but still no noise. It is beside of the interstate but no worse than at home. If you have a big camper I'd suggest getting off at the mall exit and coming back up route 60 sharp turn if you come through Milton. Flea market close by.
