Positive, Jessica at the front desk is very kind.The lobby is welcoming but sadly, that's the only real Positive experience at this hotel.

Our reservation for a Queen Suite, which includes a larger room with Sleeper sofa. However, after pulling out luggage to our room door we noticed it was just a regular queen room. They tried to tell me, that's what I booked until I pulled out my email. It turns out they gave my room away to other guest, that we were now just stuck with a queen room but hey will give you a few extra bucks off for your inconvenience. Well, that's not good enough. We drove hours, booked this room bc it was close to an event we needed to attend and due to it having larger room with a pool. What a waste! The rooms were, "decently" cleaned but smell of old feet. The pool, was smelled musty and was milky. My little one got in for a whole hot second just to get out and request a shower as soon as they returned to the room. The beds are hard and lumpy.

In town for the Marshall Marathon. First time staying at this location. Nice clean room and thoroughly enjoyed the free breakfast. The woman working in the breakfast area was friendly and did a great job. Took a great picture from the back patio.

One of best hotels ever. Comfort, cleanliness. Lighting, outlets, towel bars, bathroom area - everything was right where it should be. Loved the fluffy pillows. Highly recommend. Breakfast was good, eggs, sausage, oatmeal, Waffles, all good.

The rooms were in good shape and clean. We took our children on a weekend getaway and I called prior to booking the room and asked if the pool was heated. The receptionist said yes that it was. The temperature was freezing! It was also confirmed by the other guest in the room. It was miserable! The only reason we came to stay in the hotel! The room was not even close to being worth $200 per night. We were also given a view of the parking lot rather than the side with the scenic view and they were not even close to being full. Would not stay here again.

Terrible experience, customer service was awful. Had a reservation, checked in within the time window and told me the hotel was sold out. My room key was sitting behind the desk with my name & room number on it and they tried to tell me they were sold out. Didn't help me find another room, called the Titanium Elite number, they eventually gave me the room key with my name on it. They were sold out but then gave me that room so makes no sense. Worst of all called Marriott Titanium Elite number and were going to compensate me points for way I was treated which they did not. Don't waste your time with this hotel or Marriott, switching to Hilton, stay 75+ nights a year your loss Marriott!

I stayed here while in town to run the Marshall University Marathon. Nice hotel, rooms, and service. It's located in a business park outside the city itself but it's a short drive to most places. If you want to run outside the loop around the business park by the Amazon CS. building is a 1/3 of a mile. The photo is from my room, there is a back deck that has seating with the same view.

I am so disappointed about this hotel. I was asked if it’s my first time in this hotel. I said yes, but no any instructions given. It’s The worst Marriott hotel I’ve ever been.
The comforter has no cover. There’s a flat sheet. I don’t think there wash the comforter for every guest use.

My husband noticed the shower floor was very slippery the night we got here. When I took a shower the next morning, my feet slide right out under me and I fell out of the shower leaving bruises and a strained right arm and calf. I talked to the person at the desk and he just said that’s the way it’s been for 6 years, nothing else. He wouldn’t give me his name and said it doesn’t matter, Google it and walked away.
