Atmosphere- 4 stars- locally owned restaurant that has been serving the Fairmont community for years. This restaurant is located in the Whitehall area of Fairmont. Small and compact inside- probably no more than 15 tables. It has a country craft theme and is very clean. I really enjoyed the Christmas decor.

Service- 5 stars- our server was Ariel and she was very friendly and attentive. She made sure we had everything we needed and kept checking on us but not breathing down our necks. All the servers were decked out in Christmas costumes.

Food- 4 stars- comfort food with daily specials as well as soups and sandwiches. I had the ham and soup beans with cornbread and fried potatoes on the side. It came with a side of chopped onions - just like Mom used to make.

Wow..Amazing food! My cheese steak sandwich was sooo good! My wife had the special of the day Country Fried Steal with Mash Potatoes and Gravy. Everything was fresh, hot and delicious! Our waitress was very kind and professional! Would highly recommend you stopping in for some tasty comfort food!

What a wonderful meal. The special of the day was fried haddock. It had a light crisp coating while the meat was tender, flaky, and delicious. We had sides of green beans (highly recommended), potato salad, corn, and fried potatoes. The service was fast, prompt, and friendly.

This is a great place to eat a home cooked meal while traveling, since it is just 1/4 mile off I- 79 in White Hall (S Fairmont).

Awesome spot! Came up to visit my girlfriend and she decided we were going to try this establishment. Chicken fried steak with blackberry cobbler with ice cream! Outstanding! And a fun waitress! It was a great overall experience!

This was our first time eating here and it won’t be our last. We’ve talked about eating here but really never found the time, until today. It wasn’t long after we sat down before our waitress, Brooke, was at our table. She was very courteous. We ordered the daily special, salmon cakes, and the Buffalo Chicken hoagie with home fries. Both were very good and very filling. If you find yourself in the White Hall/Fairmont area, stop in and get something great to eat at very affordable prices. We will be back.

This was our first time at this restaurant and we weren't impressed with the food. My husband had Ham, mashed potatoes with gravy. I had meat lasagna with garlic bread, and we both had a side salad. The salad was pretty basic and small. My husband said his mashed potatoes tasted like they were instant, and the gravy was out of a jar. My lasagna was OK but had way too much cheese, and although the garlic bread was soft and fresh baked, it had a strange metal taste like it was baked on an old pan. Needless to say, we won't be returning since we paid $27.71 and drank water. This is cute inside and very clean, so it's a shame the food wasn't any better.

I've eaten at Dutchman's Daughter several times in the 30+ years that I've lived in Fairmont. This restaurant is a small, quiet restaurant, but the tastes of all of their food is absolutely delicious! Most people would expect such delicious foods to come from a big restaurant, but I'm telling you that's not true when it comes to Dutchman's Daughter. This may be a small restaurant, but they make some of the best foods of any restaurant around. Their foods taste home made and they always give you large portions of anything that you order. You definitely always get your money's worth. Trust me, you will never be disappointed with any food that you eat at Dutchman's Daughter. I also must add that they serve the most delicious Liver, Onions, and Brown Gravy that I've ever eaten! Their Liver is very tender. Anyone who knows anything about Liver knows that it has to be cooked a certain way to get it tender, to keep it tender, and to keep it flavorful. Dutchman's Daughter knows perfectly well just how to cook their Liver EVERY TIME!

I had the chicken fried steak and the white gravy was as good as any I've had down in Arkansas! They make their applesauce homemade too
