This Inn will exceed your expectations! It’s historic so it’s really fun to see how they changed building such as the blacksmith into rooms. All the rooms are different, quaint, and have a special feature. We LOVED that we could bring our dog! There’s a babbling brook right beside it that you can hear from your porch. The complimentary breakfast they deliver every morning to your room is delicious. The waterwheel restaurant was amazing! I highly recommend coming here for a weekend to enjoy hiking and the warm bath pools. Thanks for an amazing stay, can’t wait to come back!

Every time we stay at the Inn at Gristmill Square we say, "That's definitely my new favorite room" and this time was no exception. We arrived after 5 so our keys were waiting at the Waterwheel Restaurant (deserves its own separate review - so good). We stayed in the Singapore Room and it was lovely. The gas fireplace creates a cozy, warm vibe. Natural light from the massive window overlooking the main street made for a perfect spot to eat the lovely breakfast delivered in the morning. The room itself is larger than the pictures make it appear and is conveniently located just across from the restaurant. Staff are so kind and welcoming. A fantastic experience all around, as usual!

As I visited Bath County I got to stay in a wonderful location of Gristmill Square that was more than I anticipated. I've stayed at the expensive resort-like competitor in the area, but the Inn at Gristmill has such a home feeling and friendly customer service and that's what I enjoy. There's an incredible restaurant to attend and their breakfast was such a treat (those pastries were so delicious). I'd recommend you schedule a stay at the Inn at Gristmill Square🙂

This hotel offered a unique and truly wonderful weekend getaway. I really enjoy being able to park the car and just walk or sit in the peace and quiet.|Our family had several rooms in two different buildings, so we got to see some of the variety offered. The rooms are well kept, and updated to modern amenities, but still have their original architecture and style. There is Wi-Fi in each room. |The restaurant was a short walk from our room, and we were able to sit under stars around a fire pit in the evening. The bathhouses are a short 5-10 minute walk from the rooms as well, and there are hiking trails and a cafe, but best of all, it's so quiet and peaceful .

We have stayed here for over ten years. We requested a favorite room that we previously occupied. The room was clean and matches its description. However there are crusty deposits on the shower head. A rollaway we requested went to the wrong room. One of us does not eat eggs yet eggs came with breakfast. Above all the room was cold most of each day, as low as 65, despite repeated requests for heat. Front desk was unresponsive.

We spent the weekend here in the Silo room. The experience was wonderful. The restaurant was amazing. We have eaten at some very elegant restaurants across the country but this one tops the list. The staff are friendly the room was clean. Defiantly recommend anyone to stay here.

The CUTEST spot!!! We stayed for three nights in the Tower Apartment (top floor of the silo) with our two kids. It was so spacious, complete with even a little backyard for burning off some post-road trip energy. The neighborhood is safe and quiet, near hiking trails and 10 minutes from the Homestead. The best part was the complimentary breakfast, served in milk baskets, including the best bread pudding of my life. Highly recommend!

Thank you Kate and John, the Inn is an absolutely lovely place!! All the staff are welcoming, and the Waterwheel is NOT to be missed! We will be coming back again next year, if not sooner!
