Out of all the places I enjoy photographing senior pictures, portraits, and group photos the arboretum has to be one of my favorite venues! I would say it has something to do with the person that is now in charge of maintaining and up keeping the landscaping! Definitely recommend stopping by this summer and taking in the scenery before the cherry blossoms trees finish blooming!

Such a great visit to the Arboretum. Such a well taken care of place for a good stroll. The staff in the main building was so kind and accommodating. In the rain with the fall colors it was a beautiful late afternoon walk. I am impressed at the collection they have. This would be a constant visit for me if I was local. I could see it being a fun place to host a birthday or special event. And of course plenty of space I could imagine the kids could burn some good energy off.

We hosted a birthday/baby shower. The building was clean, and the kitchen had all the dishes we needed for 60 people. Beautiful setting for family and friends from out of town.

I think we stopped by during off season, lots of trees but they were pretty bare. Cherry blossoms were just starting to bloom. We stopped by during a road trip so it wasn't planned so it was closed when we got there. Nice path off to the back between the Buchanan Lake and the Yakima River... Saw ducks!!

Love it! Very peaceful and you can purchase memorials that can be place in rose garden and possibly throughout the park. Good place to get away to for a few minutes(or longer). Everything is well maintained.
