From the moment we checked in till the moment we checked out was perfect! We loved the view of our room. It was very spacious and comfortable. Large comfortable bed. The fireplace was a very nice touch. And having an indoor jacuzzi was perfect for the end of our night. The continental breakfast was a lot of delicious foods with all types of options. Would definitely stay again!

Really enjoyed our stay in Astoria, OR. The room was pleasant and large. The beds were comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was amazing! They had a coffee machine that grinder the beans and then brewed you cup of coffee. I really love the on line check out! Definitely a go-to hotel.

Great location, wonderful staff, updated and lovely rooms with river views and fireplace. Breakfast was excellent. The walls are thin and you can hear other guests. Pool heater is still inoperable but the hot tub was open and relaxing. Highly recommended for families visiting Astoria.

Check-in was efficient and friendly. Parking is ample and within easy walking distance to several doorways. All staff spoke to us and welcomed us to the hotel and offered any assistance needed. We noticed a potential issue with a vine growing near one access door and the front desk person wrote a complete note to pass on to maintenance to have it checked on. All staff appear to take responsibility for the hotel and for the guests staying there.

The Astoria Holiday Inn is always the best choice when staying in Astoria. I’ve been staying here for over a decade between travel for work and also vacation and this hotel never disappoints. The staff are always extremely friendly the hotel is always clean and you can’t beat the river views! The new remodel is so nice and the beds are extremely comfortable. I will continue to stay here each time I come to Astoria!

We drove from Indianapolis, stopping at a few places along the way to sleep. This by FAR, was our best sleep along the way! The bed and pillows were so comfortable, and the shower had the perfect pressure. Waking up in the morning refreshed and pleasantly surprised by the variety and abundance of the complimentary breakfast. Thank you for a great stay!

The room was clean and nice. It’s located on the trolley line. The pool heater was broken part of the reason we chose. This hotel was for the heated indoor pool. It was spring break during a normally rainy season, so this was disappointing. This is nothing the hotel can do anything about. It, was foggy and boat’s fog horns could be heard at all hours. This was fun for some, but not for others. Just something to consider when choosing this hotel.

We begin out 15th year with the Astoria Holiday Inn Express as March began. It is ideally located partially under the bridge connecting Oregon with Washington. It is close to an excellent restaurant, the Beachwater Bistro, and the staff can make other recommendations for dining. During our stay, we did have gale warnings, however, the remarkable view of the Columbia River was always entertaining. The value for price for this hotel matches well with other accommodations in Astoria, and there is no sea lion cacophony as with other hotels in the area.
