We stayed at the BW in Astoria for two nights, March 25 and 26. We requested a dog friendly room, as we were traveling with our two German Shepherds. Our room was on the first floor at the end of the hall and near a door to a lawn area, which made walking the dogs simple and quick. Our room was very clean. The staff was extremely professional. The clerk was busy when we arrived, dealing with guests, the phone, and some minor logistics, but she was able to juggle all these tasks efficiently. Kudos to her! This property was located close to restaurants, gas stations, and scenic areas. We would stay at this hotel again.

*not the best for light sleepers*

This hotel was really lovely. The staff was great, the pool was fun for the kids and nice and warm.
The room was nicely done up.
My only complaint and maybe it was the time of year (?) in March but the seals were barking (?) until around 2am and it was hard for us and the kids to fall asleep. And then they were back at it around 8am.
They are fun to watch, just wasn’t expecting them to be so loud!

The rooms are clean and spacious and location is good. The internet doesn’t work at all and we called tech support 4 times. It never worked in 3 days! The hot rib is not hot and has too many chemicals. The breakfast is great and the man attendant was super friendly.

The room was very spacious with the living room area. Plenty of great pillows and great bedding but the shower fixtures were out of date and not completely functional. The toilet rocked back and forth so likely there willl be a leak. A guest had left their clothes in the dryer for some time but the staff pulled it out for me the breakfast didn't have many vegan options

Well appointed suite with decent view- a plus that the windows open! Two beds, a couch and desk in spacious layout for our needs. Note that the sink area is in the room and the toilet/shower are separate room - great for travelers trying to get ready at the same time. There is quite a population of sea lions inhabiting the docks nearby, and they can be loud, but hotel thoughtfully provides ear plugs, if necessary. Breakfast had variety of cold and hot options and the eating area was clean. The hotel is right on the river path with trolley stop next to building, but alas, the trolley was not in operation during our visit and the river path was under construction in between hotel and maritime museum (but was clear to Pier 39). Look forwarding to enjoying this hotel later in the year!

We booked a very last minute trip here, got one of the last rooms. Staff was very kind and welcoming. Rooms are super clean. Even our view was great considering it was one of the last rooms. Had a great stay.

Traffic noise all night. Room had food scraps left in it uncleaned. Couch was old, creaky and uncomfortable. Staff was nice, I will say that, but there has to be a bit better than this in Astoria for the price.

The rooms are SO clean, the staff were very friendly and informative, the breakfast was excellent and the view was excellent and if you want to see and HEAR Sea Lions.. this is the place for you!! and there was a trolley outside the hotel to ride. FUN!!
